Tuberkulosis (TB) merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bacillus mycobacterium tuberculosis. Ketidakpatuhan dalam pengobatan kerap menjadi masalah secara global, karena jika tidak mengikuti rangkaian pengobatan secara benar dapat menyebabkan resistensi obat, kambuhnya kembali penyakit, bahkan sampai kematian. Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepatuhan pengobatan pasien TB paru dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya pada studi observasional. Pada tahun 2022, pemerintah mengkampanyekan ‘Sekolah Sehat’ yang bertemakan Revitalisasi Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dengan salah satu targetnya adalah Sekolah Dasar (SD), yang didasari oleh kekhawatiran terkait masalah kesehatan anak Indonesia. Analisis Survival: Hubungan Konversi Sputum Dengan Keberhasilan Pengobatan Pasien Tuberkulosis Resistan Obat Di Indonesia, Shena Masyita Deviernur, Nurhayati Adnan

Angka keberhasilan pengobatan Tuberkulosis Resistan Obat (TB RO) di Indonesia masih rendah. Konversi sputum dapat menjadi monitoring awal untuk memantau keberhasilan pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara konversi sputum <3 bulan dengan keberhasilan pengobatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kohort retrospektif dengan data yang bersumber dari sistem informasi tuberkulosis Kementerian Kesehatan RI. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah pasien TB RO yang memulai pengobatan tahun 2020-2021 di Indonesia dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 8.025 kasus dan participation rate sebesar 88,6%. Kurva Kaplan Meier dengan uji log-rank dibuat untuk analisis deskriptif, sedangkan analisis regresi Cox digunakan untuk melihat hubungan antara konversi sputum dengan keberhasilan pengobatan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 45,9% pasien konversi sputum < 3 bulan pengobatan dengan 74,6% memiliki keberhasilan pengobatan. Secara keseluruhan median time untuk keberhasilan pengobatan berdasarkan konversi sputum < 3 bulan adalah bulan ke-18. Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan konversi sputum < 3 bulan 1,25 (95% CI 1,18-1,34) lebih tinggi peluangnya untuk mencapai keberhasilan pengobatan dibandingkan pasien yang tidak konversi < 3 bulan setelah dikontrol oleh status HIV dan paduan pengobatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa monitoring konversi sputum dapat menjadi cara untuk melakukan monitoring keberhasilan pengobatan sedini mungkin. Konversi sputum merupakan standar yang dilakukan untuk pemantauan pengobatan pasien TB RO. Namun jumlah laboratorium yang dapat melakukan pemeriksaan untuk konversi pada pasien TB RO masih terbatas. Perlu adanya perluasan layanan dan peningkatan mutu layanan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan konversi sputum pada pasien TB RO.

Vulnerable populations have been shown to be disproportionately impacted by natural disasters, such as hurricanes. Hurricane Michael, a Category 5 storm, in October of 2018 hit the rural and socioeconomically vulnerable area of the Florida Panhandle, causing 50 fatalities in Florida, massive destruction to area including the healthcare infrastructure, and led a prolonged recovery period. However, evidence suggests that even mild TBIs can lead to long-lasting symptoms that greatly impact quality of life. Pontine nuclei (PN) neurons mediate the communication between the cerebral cortex andthe cerebellum to refine skilled motor functions. Prior studies showed that PN neurons fall into two subtypes based on their anatomic location and region-specific connectivity, but the extent of their heterogeneity and its molecular drivers remain unknown. Atoh1 encodes a transcription factor that is expressed in the PN precursors. Prevalensi global stroke dan sindrom metabolik, sebagai kumpulan faktor risiko utama yang mempengaruhi stroke terus mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat hubungan antara sindrom metabolik dan kejadian stroke di Indonesia. Desain studi ini adalah cross-sectional dan menggunakan data survei skala nasional. Responden berusia >15 tahun yang mengalami stroke dengan data lengkap terkait pengukuran lingkar perut, tekanan darah, kadar glukosa darah, trigliserida, dan kadar high-density lipoprotein akan masuk dalam studi ini. Model regresi logistik digunakan dalam analisis kami. Dari 24.451 responden, studi kami menunjukkan mayoritas berusia <55 tahun (73,9%), perempuan (62,2%), dengan proporsi penderita stroke serta proporsi sindrom metabolik adalah 1,2%, dan 24,4%. Studi ini memperlihatkan adanya hubungan antara sindrom metabolik dan kejadian stroke (adj POR: 2,4; 95% CI: 1,9-3,1). The design of this study was cross-sectional quantitative using open sources data from Indonesia National Health Insurance Agency (BPJS Kesehatan). The sample units in this study were hospitalization cases from 2015-2021 of National Health Insurance program member. Sample size of this study are 43,921 that weighted to get 3,901,373 hospitalization cases. Uveal melanoma (UM) displays a high frequency of metastasis; however, effective therapies for metastatic UM are limited. Identifying unique metabolic features of UM may provide a potential targeting strategy. A lipid metabolism protein expression signature was induced in a normal choroidal melanocyte (NCM) line transduced with GNAQ (Q209L), a driver in UM growth and development. Consistently, UM cells expressed elevated levels of fatty acid synthase (FASN) compared to NCMs. FASN upregulation was associated with increased mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) activation and sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (SREBP1) levels. Late-life depression (LLD) is a heterogenous mood disorder influenced by genetic factors. Cortical physiological processes such as cortical inhibition, facilitation, and plasticity may be markers of illness that are more strongly associated with genetic factors than the clinical phenotype. Thus, exploring the relationship between genetic factors and these physiological processes may help to characterize the biological mechanisms underlying LLD and improve diagnosis and treatment selection. BACKGROUND: Although the Farsi version of the Eating Disorder Examination-Questionnaire (F-EDE-Q) is frequently utilized to assess disordered eating in Iran, its factor structure, reliability, and validity have not been investigated in Iranian samples, which is the aim of the current investigation.

METHOD: Using convenience sampling, this study recruited 1112 adolescents and 637 university students to complete disordered eating and mental health-focused questionnaires, including the F-EDE-Q.
