Viruses can enter host cells through ACE-2 receptors in various human organs, including the oral cavity. The oral manifestations that arise include white plaque, ulceration, burning sensation, oral mucositis, depapillation of the tongue, dry mouth, halitosis, and loss of the sense of taste. This study aimed to investigate Kangaroo Mother Care's effect in increasing premature babies' thermoregulation during the COVID-19 pandemic at Hospital A in Malang City, Indonesia. High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and artificial sweeteners (AS) have been implicated as contributory factors to DMt2. This project seeks to demonstrate elimination of daily consumption of HFCS and AS in DMt2 patients can contribute to lower hemoglobin A1C (HgbA1C) levels by comparing two groups of patients receiving two differing diabetes education programs. Jaw tracking is the process of the collimator jaws dynamically following the multileaf collimators during modulated therapy. Jaw tracking can be used throughout the dosimetry treatment planning process for IMRT and VMAT treatment plans. It can reduce a patient’s OAR dose by reducing low dose spillage from MLC interleaf leakage. This study aims to investigate if jaw tracking reduces OAR dose while maintaining PTV coverage in prostate patients with involved lymph nodes using 6MV VMAT treatment planning technique.

In 2020, the authors conducted a fully digitized, remote flipped (RF) classroom focusing on removable partial dentures. Eicosanoids are biologically active derivatives of polyunsaturated fatty acids with broad relevance to health and disease. We report a genome-wide association study in 8406 participants of the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities Study, identifying 41 loci associated with 92 eicosanoids and related metabolites. These findings highlight loci required for eicosanoid biosynthesis, including FADS1-3, ELOVL2, and numerous CYP450 loci. In addition, significant associations implicate a range of non-oxidative lipid metabolic processes in eicosanoid regulation, including at PKD2L1/SCD and several loci involved in fatty acyl-CoA metabolism. The arachidonic acid pathway participates in immunosuppression in various types of cancer. Our previous observation detailed that microsomal prostaglandin E2 synthase 1 (mPGES-1), an enzyme downstream of cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2), limited antitumor immunity in melanoma; in addition, genetic depletion of mPGES-1 specifically enhanced immune checkpoint blockade therapy. The current study set out to distinguish the roles of mPGES-1 from those of COX-2 in tumor immunity and determine the potential of mPGES-1 inhibitors for reinforcing immunotherapy in melanoma. Purpose: To examine the feasibility and potential efficacy of pre-surgical exercise in patients with bladder cancer scheduled for open radical cystectomy with follow-up post-surgery. Methods: Prospective single-group design with assessments at baseline, pre-surgery and 3 months post-surgery. Multimodal supervised resistance and aerobic exercise was undertaken 2-3 days/week at moderate intensity for a median of 3.5 (IQR 1.3-5.6) weeks.
