[From the Introduction] The purpose of this investigation was to purify the enzyme trans-N-glycosidase from T. acidophilus and to study its specificity, optimum pH, and the effect of various other compounds, particularly azathymine and azathymidine, upon its activity.

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the basic concepts of physiology stated in a given list could be demonstrated in the nursing care of a selected patient with a diagnosis of myocardial infarction.
