Background: Florfenicol, an antibiotic permitted in veterinary medicine, currently lacks an established maximum residue limit (MRL) in meat products in Thailand, effectively mandating undetectable residue levels. In May 2024, Thailand Pesticide Alert Network reported florfenicol residues in swine, raising concerns about consumer safety, rational veterinary drug use, and the potential for antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Addressing these issues involves multiple laws, decrees, and regulations across various agencies. Objectives: To analyze laws and regulations managing florfenicol residue detection in swine. Background and Aims: Asthma is a chronic lung disease affecting people of all age group, which is characterized by inflammation and muscle tightening around the airway. Coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath are the symptoms. The main complication faced by asthma patient is poor medication adherence; to overcome this patient counseling was performed. In this patient education was given through both digital and direct approaches. It is important to find out whether the above-mentioned approaches improve medication adherence. OTD Capstone Projects
Mckenna Farms Therapy Services is a therapeutic riding center that offers hippotherapy and therapeutic riding services. They also offer therapy services such as: physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy as well. This project focused on creating online occupational therapy resources (e.g., activities, worksheets, handouts). This project also included making a pamphlet that provided inclusive experiences in the Northwest Georgia area for children/families. The deliverables of this project are the online occupational therapy resource binder easily accessible in a google drive, and the physical pamphlet with information on inclusive experiences.

Essential oils are known to have pharmaceutical effects such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticarcinogenic properties. These days, there are various types of essential oils that are commonly used for coughing or to promote good sleep.
We prepared 19 different essential oils to find the essential oil that has the most antibiotic properties by putting drops of oil on a soy agar plate with Serratia marcescens. As a result, cinnamon cassia essential oil was most effective, and five of them didn't have antibiotic properties.

Introduction. Anaphylaxis is a severe hypersensitivity reaction that occurs rapidly and can be life-threatening. This reaction disrupts the respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, and/or integumentary systems. The global prevalence of anaphylaxis is 1-2%, with a mortality rate of 0.3%. Introduction. Diabetes mellitus (DM) remains a major global health issue due to its direct consequences and complications, particularly cardiovascular complications. These complications are influenced by autonomic neuropathy, which can be assessed by Heart Rate Variability (HRV). Insulinoma is a rare neuroendocrine tumor of the pancreas arising from β-cells, leading to excessive insulin secretion and resultant hypoglycaemia. Surgical resection is the first-line treatment for insulinoma, but when surgery is not feasible, medical therapy is an important option. Calcium channel blockers (CCBs) such as verapamil can inhibit insulin release from β-cells and have been proposed as an adjunct therapy to help control blood glucose levels in insulinoma. Acute delirium syndrome is often found in hospitalized older patients, requiring longer hospital stay and higher hospital cost. Studies showed that 40% of these delirium cases in older patients may be prevented with multicomponent intervention based on National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) guidelines. The complexity of diabetes makes early diagnosis and effective management challenging for healthcare settings. This study developed and evaluated models using machine learning algorithms to predict the risk of diabetes. The data were primarily sourced from the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS). Diabetes status was identified using A1c whole blood sample values (A1c WBS ³5.7%). Sociodemographic and anthropometric factors were set as predictors, most of which were significantly correlated with diabetes status. Keberlangsungan klaim JKN di RSUD Khidmat Sehat Afiat Kota Depok sekurang-kurangnya harus didukung oleh SIMRS yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan E-Klaim INA-CBG’s dan V-Claim. Maka pada tahun 2019 SIMRS dilakukan integrasi dengan kedua sistem informasi tersebut guna meningkatkan keberhasilan klaim JKN. Namun, sejak SIMRS diintegrasi, hingga saat ini belum pernah dilakukan analisis. Cakupan inisiasi menyusu dini (IMD) di Indonesia lebih rendah dibandingkan rata-rata ASEAN. Padahal cakupan persalinan di fasilitas kesehatan dan dibantu oleh tenaga kesehatan telah melampaui 70%. Penyedia layanan kesehatan menjadi faktor pendukung ibu untuk melakukan IMD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran tempat persalinan dalam IMD di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain potong lintang, dan menggunakan data Survei Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2017. Death due to SARS-CoV-2 generally occurs in patients requiring hospital care (hospitalization). However, it is still unclear whether vaccination acts as a protective factor against hospitalization in SARS-CoV-2 patients in Indonesia. Nurse retention has become increasingly challenging in the post-pandemic era, particularly for private hospitals. This study aimed to identify the significant predictors of nurse retention in selected private hospitals in Malaysia. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional design was employed. A pre-validated, self-administered questionnaire, distributed via Google Forms, was used for data collection. The respondents included 532 registered nurses employed at three private hospitals in Malaysia. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and correlation studies, including Spearman’s rho and multiple regression analysis. Abstract: Single-ventricle congenital heart defects require complex surgical strategies, with computation fluid dynamics (CFD) playing a growing role in optimizing cavopulmonary connections. This scoping review examines CFD-derived insights into power loss, hepatic flow distribution (HFD), and wall shear stress (WSS) across different Fontan geometries.
Methods: A search of available peer-reviewed literature (1995-2024) identified studies using CFD models to analyze hemodynamic performance in second and third-stage single-ventricle repairs. Studies were categorized based on surgical stage, anatomical variations, modeling assumptions, and key outcomes such as power loss, HFD, and WSS.

In this process, creating kinematic and dynamic mathematical models of the system is extremely important. In this paper, we develop mathematical models that describe rehabilitation exoskeleton systems' kinematic and dynamic properties. Based on the Denavit-Hartenberg method we construct kinematic model of the exoskeleton system. The method gave us to determine the coordinate system for each joint. This study examined the intensity of different physical activity (PA) breaks for elementary school children in a simulated classroom setting. Researchers compared the energy expenditure (Kcals/min, METs) of PA breaks developed for the Physical Activity Across the Curriculum (PAAC-3) program, delivered via video or in-person, to commercially available GoNoodle© videos. 71 children (age 9.0 ± 1.1 yrs., 47 males, 24 females, 18% minority) participated in 10-minute PA breaks.
