Effective study methods are critical in ophthalmology residency, which must balance cognitive learning with surgical skill development. This systematic review examined non-surgical cognitive strategies and surgical training techniques to inform curriculum design and enhance resident performance. A structured literature search was conducted in PubMed and Scopus (2016–2025) using keywords (“study method” OR “effective study” OR “learning strategy” OR “educational intervention” OR “training approach”) AND (“ophthalmology residency” OR “resident education”). Residual Cancer Burden (RCB) is a validated scoring system that quantifies the amount of tumour remaining after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) for breast cancer, providing prognostic information beyond binary outcomes, such as pathologic complete response (pCR). pCR represents a binary endpoint within various NAC response-grading systems, including RCB, rather than a separate reporting system. The data used is the Scopus database for the last 10 years. Research findings found that there were 4302 documents that met the specified criteria. The number of online counseling studies increased gradually over the 2013-2022 research period. The largest source of documents comes from 3691 articles. Vitamin D deficiency can lead to prolonged inflammation and damage to dermal collagen. High total cholesterol levels can lead to excessive sebum production, exacerbating inflammation and fibrosis. Case Illustration: A 66-year-old immunocompromised male presented with widespread pruritic and erythematous patches, initially misdiagnosed as tinea corporis. Prescription stimulants (e.g., methylphenidate) are thought to improve attention, but evidence from prior fMRI studies is conflicted. We utilized resting-state fMRI data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study (n = 11,875; 8-11 years old) and validated the functional connectivity findings in a precision imaging drug trial with highly sampled (n = 5, 165-210 min each) healthy adults (methylphenidate 40 mg). Stimulant-related connectivity differences in sensorimotor regions matched fMRI patterns of daytime arousal, sleeping longer at night, and norepinephrine transporter expression. The objectives of this study were to quantify temporal changes in prostatic volume and serum CPSE concentrations in dogs with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) (n = 6) following surgical castration, and to evaluate the potential of CPSE as a biomarker for monitoring prostatic regression. Prostatic volume was determined by transabdominal ultrasonography, and serum CPSE concentrations were measured at baseline (Week 0) and at Weeks 1, 2, and 4 postcastration. The mean (±SE) prostatic volume before castration was 11.4 ± 1.9 cm3 and decreased significantly to 6.3±1.1 cm3 by Week 1 (P < 0.001), representing a reduction to approximately 56% of the baseline value. Rheumatic diseases distinctly affect women of childbearing age, creating complex challenges in balancing maternal disease control with fetal safety during pregnancy and lactation. This review summarizes the pathophysiology and management of common rheumatic diseases, with a focus on the safety and efficacy of conventional and biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). Particular emphasis is placed on pregnancy-compatible therapies, contraindicated agents, and emerging evidence supporting the use of select biologics such as tumor necrosis factor inhibitors (TNKs). Current guidelines and primary literature have been reviewed to show the importance of preconception counseling and individualized treatment plans to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.
