This study aims to examine the effectiveness of an interactive SEL-based E-Module in enhancing students' mental health literacy, offering an innovative solution responsive to the digital era. Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) masih menjadi masalah utama kesehatan masyarakat di Sulawesi Selatan, dengan pola penularan yang bervariasi secara spasial maupun temporal. Pada tahun 2024, provinsi ini mencatat insidens DBD sebesar 66,04 per 100.000 penduduk, di mana hanya 12,5% kabupaten/kota yang mencapai target nasional (≤10 per 100.000). Belum diketahui pola spasial yang membentuk klaster yang persisten atau berubah antar waktu, sehingga dilakukan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pola spasiotemporal serta persistensi klaster spasial kejadian DBD di Sulawesi Selatan. Background: Huntington’s disease (HD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder caused by a CAG trinucleotide repeat expansion in the HTT gene. While CAG repeat length is the primary determinant of disease onset, substantial variability exists in the rate of disease progression and cognitive decline. This variability is influenced by both cis and trans genetic modifiers, including DNA repair genes such as MLH1, MSH3, PMS2, and FAN1. Emerging evidence also suggests that systemic metabolic comorbidities—including diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia and hypertension—may exacerbate neuronal vulnerability and accelerate neurodegeneration.

Objective: To compare age- and weight-specific methods used to estimate radiation doses and to propose institutional diagnostic reference levels (DRLs) for paediatric fluoroscopy of micturating cystourethrogram (MCUG).
Methods: In this retrospective study, MCUG fluoroscopy parameters were gathered for 100 paediatric patients from July 2025 to January 2026. The data included the MCUG paediatric procedures for patients aged 0–15 years. The data were categorized into paediatric weight- and age-specific groups. Paediatric weight-specific groups were ≤ 5, 5 < – 10, 10 < – 20, and >20 kg, and paediatric age-specific groups were ≤ 1, 1 < – 5, 5 < – 10, and < 10 – 15 years old.

Children with developmental or neurological disorders, such as cerebral palsy, present with impaired motor function, resulting in impaired swallowing, feeding, and drooling. The prevalence of chronic drooling radically changes from 0.5% in children >4 years to 60% in children with neurological ailments. Search terms combined translational research–related keywords (such as ``bench-to-bedside,'' ``implementation science,'' ``precision medicine'') and relevant MeSH terms. This qualitative study examined how effective mentorship mitigates burnout and attenuates turnover intention during organizational change, foregrounding the perspectives of experienced mentors. Drawing on Biggs’s presage–process–product (PPP) model, data were collected through semi-structured interviews (n = 12) and two focus group discussions (n = 6 each), engaging 18 unique mentors employed in organizations with 1,000 or more employees. Thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke’s six-phase protocol yielded four themes: (1) mentorship as strategic facilitation of organizational change; (2) mentorship as provision of emotional and psychological support; (3) empowering mentees through relationship-building; and (4) applying adaptive and reflective strategies. …

The COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately affected women, particularly women of color, yet less is known about their recovery experiences following the end of the public health emergency. This exploratory mixed-methods study examined recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic among Black, Latina, and White women in the United States. Participants (N = 133) completed a survey that included a self-reported recovery measure and open-ended questions regarding their recovery experiences. A chi-square analysis indicated a significant association between race/ethnicity and recovery status, with Latina women more likely to report ongoing recovery than Black and White women. Evidence supports standardized suicide screening can promote early identification of suicide risk. A needs assessment at an outpatient mental health clinic identified the absence of a standardized suicide screening and referral process. The purpose of this quality improvement project was to implement the Ask Suicide-Screening Questions (ASQ) Tool and a standardized referral protocol. The Na⁺/K⁺-ATPase (NKA) is a central regulator of cardiac ion homeostasis and a validated target for heart failure. Yet, cardiotonic steroids used in clinical practice are limited by a narrow therapeutic window and pro-arrhythmic effects. Here, we identify Ro 41-0960 as a non-steroidal inhibitor of NKA with a distinct mechanistic profile. The compound inhibits NKA activity with IC50 values of 17.9 ± 1.1 µM for purified enzyme and https://doi.org/10.3 ± 1.1 µM in microsomal preparations. Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), continues to pose a significant global health challenge despite the existence of effective treatments. The only licensed TB vaccine, Bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG), offers inconsistent and generally limited protection against adult pulmonary TB. Disparities in head and neck cancer (HNC) diagnosis may contribute to poorer outcomes among socially and economically disadvantaged populations. This quantitative secondary data analysis examined associations between socioecological factors and advanced primary tumor category among adults with HNC residing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Guided by the socioecological model, deidentified data (N = 350) from two Fox Chase Cancer Center research protocols were analyzed using three domain-specific multivariable logistic regression models. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are generated by backsplicing of eukaryotic protein-coding transcripts and can regulate microRNAs and RNA binding proteins, or serve as translation templates. Their covalently closed structure confers resistance to exonuclease-mediated degradation, extending their half-life and supporting their development as RNA therapeutics. However, existing overexpression methods often yield substantial contaminating linear RNAs, limiting their utility. Here, we systematically benchmarked plasmid-based circRNA overexpression strategies in human cells, comparing spliceosome- and ribozyme-based mechanisms across constructs incorporating widely used flanking sequences. The ribozyme-based Tornado system produced the highest circRNA yield but introduced extraneous “molecular scars” into the mature product. By contrast, spliceosome-mediated …
