This study aimed to compare the effects of a mind-body exercise program and a multicomponent exercise program on active aging among middle-aged and older adults. Based on the FITT-VP principle, this study investigated the dose-response relationship between tennis participation and cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in college students. Addressing the current reliance on expert consensus for exercise prescription and the lack of dose-regulation mechanisms, this study focused on high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and sprint interval training (SIT). Classroom management that balances high levels of demandingness and responsiveness creates an interesting learning environment in physical education. From the perspective of self-determination theory, demandingness may initiate teacher-centered behavioral regulation, potentially constraining students' autonomy, while responsiveness can enhance students’ sense of care and support. Understanding the distinct and combined effects of these two seemingly “contradictory” factors on student outcomes is essential. While fundamental movement skills (FMS) and physical fitness are critical for children with intellectual disabilities, their multidimensional interactions remain poorly characterized. This study aimed to elucidate the structural associations between FMS (locomotor and object control skills) and physical fitness in children with intellectual disabilities using canonical correlation analysis (CCA). Method: A cross-sectional design included 207 children with intellectual disabilities (aged 6–18 years, mean age=13.13±3.14). This study, based on a Drosophila model, aims to investigate the regulatory effects of endurance exercise on pect gene expression and its role in mitigating cardiac dysfunction induced by a high-sugar diet.
