Let A and B be two f-algebras. This paper establishes the theoretical framework for multiplicative order convergence, clarifying its definition, properties, and relations to other convergence types. This includes a detailed discussion on the conditions under which multiplicative order convergence and order convergence, as well as unbounded order convergence, mutually imply each other. We establish an extension theorem for multiplicative order continuous operators, similar to Veksler’s theorem for order continuous operators. The majorization feature is important when investigating analytical functions’ geometric properties. The present work focuses on the majorization property for a general Ma-Minda type function class S*φ(γ, λ) of starlike functions of complex order, which is described with the Ruscheweyh differential operator. In the context of the main theorem, consequences are presented for various special functions φ having a positive real part. Furthermore, the Ruscheweyh differential operator extends a representation formula and investigates an upper-bound formula. Examples of upper bounds for analytic functions are also presented.

Nonoscillatory Solutions Of Third-Order Nonlinear Dynamic Equations: Existence And Nonexistence, Özkan Öztürk, Elvan Akin, Nesli̇han Nesli̇ye Pelen

This paper investigates a third-order nonlinear dynamic equation on arbitrary time scales, a nonempty closed subset of the real numbers, unifying continuous and discrete analyses. We study the qualitative behavior of nonoscillatory solutions and their quasi-derivatives, focusing on their limiting behaviors. The existence of such solutions are established using improper integral criteria and Schauder’s and Knaster’s fixed point theorems. In addition, we establish the criteria for the nonexistence of nonoscillatory solutions. Furthermore, we prove the existence of Kneser-type solutions of the corresponding linear dynamic equation on isolated time scales, addressing an open problem in the literature. Structural Stability For Damped Nonlinear Wave Equations, Sevda Isayeva, Varga Kalantarov

We study the problem of continuous dependence on parameters for solutions to initial-boundary value problems for nonlinear strongly damped wave equations. Specifically, we consider three classes of equations: a strongly damped wave equation with a nonlinear damping term; a strongly damped wave equation incorporating both a nonlinear damping term and a nonlinear source term; and a strongly damped wave equation with a nonlinear source term and a linear weak damping term. For each class, we establish structural stability results, showing that the solutions depend continuously on the relevant parameters.

We consider a nonlinear superposition operator on weighted Banach spaces lp,σ, where σ is the weighted function with the property that (∀n ∈ ℕ) σ(n) ≥ 1. We present the necessary and sufficient conditions for the action of the superposition operator from lp,σ to lq,τ, 1 ≤ p, q ≤ ∞, as well as the L-characteristic of the action of the considered operator.

The Geometry Of Semislant Submersions Whose Total Manifolds Are Locally Conformal Kähler Manifolds, Çağrihan Çi̇men, Hakan Mete Taştan

We study semislant submersions whose total manifolds are locally conformal Kähler manifolds. We provide conditions for the total geodesicity and integrability of the distributions involved in the definition. Next, we establish a condition under which such a submersion is a Clairaut submersion. Finally, we obtain some optimal inequalities for a semislant submersion whose total manifold is Hopf space form.

This work establishes connections between different classes of arbitrary speed rectifying helices. We further analyze how the involute of a space curve can exhibit spherical helicity and how the evolute can inherit rectifying properties, thereby providing an alternative characterization of these helices. These relationships, along with their interplay with involutes and evolutes, are supported by illustrative examples that offer deeper insights into their geometric properties.

Magnetic field sensing is essential for applications in communication, environmental monitoring, and biomedical diagnostics. Quantum magnetic field sensors based on solid-state spin defects, such as NV centers in diamond, typically require precise alignment between the external magnetic field and the defect’s spin quantization axis to achieve reliable and directional sensing. This alignment constraint imposes challenges for device integration, especially in scalable or fielddeployable applications. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complicated neurodevelopmental illness, affecting social interaction, communication, and cognitive function. To lower healthcare costs and facilitate prompt intervention, early and accurate detection is crucial. However, behavioral assessments—which are inherently subjective and can lead to delayed diagnoses—are a significant component of traditional diagnostic procedures. This paper presents a convolutional neural network (CNN) and time-frequency analysis-based early ASD screening using EEG signals. Previously, we identified the only dinitrogen reduction mechanism known to date as an ancient feature conserved from nitrogenase ancestors, which we directly tested by resurrecting and integrating synthetic ancestral nitrogenases into the genome of Azotobacter vinelandii (Garcia et al., 2023), a genetically tractable, nitrogen-fixing model bacterium. Here, we extend this paleomolecular approach to investigate the structural evolution of nitrogenase over billions of years of evolution by combining phylogenetics, ancestral sequence reconstruction, protein crystallography, and deep-learning based predictions. Developing accurate force fields for biomolecules remains a significant challenge due to the subtle energetic differences between various conformational states. We present a novel force field model for polyalanine, ALAMP2_25, developed using adaptive force matching (AFM) with M & oslash;ller-Plesset perturbation theory at the second order (MP2) as the reference method. By fitting smaller model compounds and transferring parameters to larger peptides, we overcome the limitations of traditional AFM approaches and enable the use of more accurate electronic structure methods. BACKGROUND: It is unclear whether the current North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) trauma system will be effective in the setting of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO). We sought to model the efficacy of the NATO trauma system in the setting of LSCO. We also intended to model novel scenarios that could better adapt the current system to LSCO.
METHODS: We developed a discrete-event simulation model for patients with combat musculoskeletal injuries treated within the standard NATO system. The primary outcome of the model was survival. The primary goal of this thesis is to improve upon existing dynamical system models in economics. Existing models utilizing Lotka-Volterra dynamics display a tendency to suffer from unrealistic forecasts dominated by exponential growth and decay. Additionally, current inverse methods are only applicable in differential equation systems with linear coefficients. In this body of work, we propose novel methods for handling these challenges.

Hexokinase 2 (HK2) initiates glucose metabolism by catalyzing the conversion of glucose to glucose-6-phosphate providing the starting substrate for a vast array of metabolic pathways such as glycolysis, pentose phosphate pathway (PPP), amino acid biosynthesis and others. Saccadic eye movements provide a well-defined behavioral readout for investigating how the basal ganglia (BG) contribute to action selection. While saccades are controlled by multiple brain regions, including direct excitatory inputs from various cortices, the BG exerts a key inhibitory influence. Decades of experimental work using saccadic behavioral paradigms in non-human primates have yielded important insights into the activity of BG populations. These include the caudate nucleus, subthalamic nucleus, globus pallidus externus, and substantia nigra pars reticulata, as well as dopaminergic afferents from the substantia nigra pars compacta and efferent projections to the superior colliculus, which controls eye movements. In this dissertation we prove the existence and stability of solitary waves for the power degenerate non linear Schr ̈odinger equation (2.1.1) and a fourth order wave equation (3.1.1). Construction of the waves are variational in nature. For the NLS we consider a semilinear Schr ̈odinger equation, driven by the power degenerate second order differential operator ∇ · (|x|2a∇), a ∈ (0, 1). In 2021, Rama Cont and Marvin M¨uller proposed a stochastic partial differential equation (SPDE) that models the density of orders in the limit order book at a given distance from the mid-price. In this thesis, we begin with a generalized version of the Cont–M¨uller SPDE and formulate an associated inverse problem. We present two alternative approaches to framing this inverse problem and establish, under appropriate assumptions, that it is conditionally well-posed. Mediation analysis is a fundamental tool in causal inference, enabling researchers to disentangle the pathways through which an exposure affects an outcome via intermediate variables (mediators). It has been widely applied in social sciences, psychology, and healthcare-related studies. Traditionally, mediation analysis has been conducted within the linear structural equation modeling (LSEM) framework. Cannabis vaping is a relatively new route of administration that is increasingly common among youth and young adults. Cannabis vaping has been associated with cases of acute lung injury, especially among youth, and most often involves the heating and aerosolization of high-potency products having cannabinoid concentrations of ~ 50 % - 98 % w/w. Proponents argue that vaping is safer than smoking due to the characteristically lower temperatures and fewer plant materials. Gw250114: Testing Hawking’S Area Law And The Kerr Nature Of Black Holes, The Ligo Scientific Collaboration, The Virgo Collaboration, The Kagra Collaboration

The gravitational-wave signal GW250114 was observed by the two LIGO detectors with a network matched-filter signal-to-noise ratio of 80. The signal was emitted by the coalescence of two black holes with near-equal masses 𝑚1=33.6+1.2−0.8𝑀⊙ and 𝑚2=32.2+0.8−1.3𝑀⊙, and small spins 𝜒1,2≤0.26 (90% credibility) and negligible eccentricity 𝑒≤0.03. Postmerger data excluding the peak region are consistent with the dominant quadrupolar (ℓ=|𝑚|=2) mode of a Kerr black hole and its first overtone. We constrain the modes’ frequencies to ±30% of the Kerr spectrum, providing a test of the remnant’s Kerr nature. We also examine Hawking’s area law, also known as the second law …

On 4 February 1976, a Mw 7.5 earthquake along the Motagua fault, Guatemala, ruptured ∼230 km of the North American and Caribbean plate boundary. Today, the plate boundary remains poorly monitored, and the 1976 earthquake is still not fully understood. Here, we present seismic reflection profiles and radiometrically dated sediment core data from six lakes around the Motagua fault, together with reports of destruction and a quasi-dynamic rupture model, which show that the 1976 earthquake experienced strong directivity that impacted the distribution of shaking. This Report provides a summary of activities and outcomes from the Maboo Liyan Boorroo Workshop III, held in June 2025. Three community Workshops have been held, involving an external multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research team (the research team) visiting and working with the Yurmulun Pandanus Park Community and the Martuwarra Fitzroy River Council River Keepers. Objectives: The objective of this work is to evaluate the shear bond strength between denture base resin and three different acrylic artificial denture teeth. The latter was subjected to three different surface modifications on the ridge lap area and compared to unmodified acrylic artificial denture teeth.

هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن فعالية برنامج رياضي لتنمية المهارات الاجتماعية لدى الصم، وقد تألف مجتمع الدراسة من (60) أصماً في محافظة الزرقاء، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (20) أصماً من طلبة الصف التاسع الأساسي ضمن الفئة العمرية 14 عاماً، وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بطريقة عشوائية تم تقسيمها الى مجموعة تجريبية تتكون من عشرة أصماء، وأخرى ضابطة تتكون من عشرة أصماء، واستخدم الباحثون المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتم تصميم مقياس المهارات الاجتماعية لدى الصم، وحصل المقياس على درجات جيدة من الصدق والثبات، وأظهرت النتائج بعد تطبيق البرنامج فعالية البرنامج لتنمية المهارات الاجتماعية لدى الصم، وتم تقديم عدد من المقترحات لمساعدة هذه الفئة …
