Abstract: In view of the problems of unreachable target areas and easy local minima in traditional artificial potential field methods, an improved artificial potential field method was proposed. The improved algorithm optimized the repulsive field function by introducing obstacle angle factors and distance factors to control the repulsive force magnitude. At the same time, an additional repulsive force towards the target point was added to solve the problem of unreachable target areas in traditional algorithms. Abstract: Due to the difficulty in reflecting the various information activities and interactions within the command information system using general modeling methods for complex system structure, the advantages of supernetwork in characterizing node heterogeneity and link multiplicity of the system were utilized. With continued progress in portable technology, energy storage has become an important factor to improve upon as batteries are found in a variety of everyday devices. Lithium-ion batteries are particularly common, although current technology features shortcomings in thermal stability, efficiency, and cost. Such shortcomings are related to current electrolytes in such technologies. The following experiment aims, for noteworthy alternative electrolytes, to analyze both macroscopic measurements related to transport properties and spectroscopy measurements that give insight into samples’ solvation structures. OpenBCI is a low-cost, open-source platform for alternative brain-computer interface (BCI) software and hardware. This thesis evaluates OpenBCI’s electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) capabilities by constructing and testing a 16-channel EEG system using the Ultracortex Mark IV headset and Cyton + Daisy biosensing board. The viability of the system was assessed through real-time BCI control and comparison to a clinical-grade EEG system. Real-time BCI control of an online falling-block game was tested via the use of eye blinks EMG (channels Fp1/Fp2) and head-tilt accelerometer inputs. Abstract: In the presence of dynamic interference in the environment, traditional simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) methods often experience reduced precision and stability in the registration of virtual objects during three-dimensional registration in augmented reality (AR). To address these issues, an improved method for dynamic scenes based on semantic segmentation and optical flow tracking was proposed. Abstract: To address the problem of multi-vehicle cooperative strike against maneuvering targets, a cooperative guidance method considering impact time control and terminal area sealing was proposed. The distributed disturbance observer was utilized to estimate target maneuvers. Based on the consensus errors of the impact time, the cooperative guidance law in the line-of-sight direction was proposed to achieve simultaneous hits on targets at a specified time. Abstract: In mobile edge computing (MEC), to satisfy diverse user demands by jointly optimizing service caching and computation offloading and address low-efficiency resource utilization caused by irrational resource allocation, this paper proposed a novel joint optimization of service caching and computation offloading with a convex-optimization-enabled deep reinforcement learning (JCO-CR) method. Additionally, a new model for digital twin cloud-edge networks (DTCEN) was constructed. Abstract: A finite-time fault-tolerant control scheme based on backstepping was proposed for the attitude tracking control problem of quadrotor UAVs. A finite-time neural network disturbance observer was designed, which could quickly compensate for the impacts of actuator failures and external disturbances, thereby enhancing the system's robustness. A first-order command filter and a compensation mechanism were introduced, which could avoid the computational complexity caused by differentiating the virtual control law and eliminate the influence of filtering errors. Abstract: To address the mismatch between existing natural language interaction frameworks and training tasks in simulation-based military training, which limits smooth interaction between trainees and Computer Generated Forces (CGF), this paper proposes a Natural Language Interaction framework for Computer Generated Forces (NLI4CGF). The framework analyzes the logic and functional requirements of natural language interaction between trainees and CGF, and establishes an interaction architecture tailored for military simulation training scenarios. Abstract: Traditional bidirectional A* algorithm has many path inflection points, undergoes smoothness, and faces diagonal obstacles in path traversing. Therefore, an improved bidirectional A* algorithm was proposed. Abstract: To address the issues of complex node relationships and low accuracy in large-scale Boolean network inference, a new optimization algorithm integrated with long short-term memory (LSTM) networks and genetic programming was proposed. An enhanced LSTM network combined with a self-attention mechanism was designed to extract potential regulatory nodes from time-series data. These nodes were utilized as terminals of the syntax tree for the design of the genetic programming algorithm, and new operators were introduced to optimize Boolean function search. Abstract: Evolutionary reinforcement learning currently suffers from low sample efficiency, a single coupling method, and poor convergence, which can affect its performance and scaling. To address this issue, an improved algorithm based on elite gradient instruction and double random search was proposed. The direction of the reinforcement strategy gradient update was corrected by introducing elite strategy gradient guidance carrying evolutionary information during reinforcement strategy training. Abstract: To address the issue that changes in ambient temperature significantly affect the output accuracy of the fiber optic gyro (FOG), which causes zero bias drift, increases measurement errors, and limits their application accuracy in complex environments, a temperature compensation model based on BP neural networks was proposed. Residents preparing for pathology board exams frequently use multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from question banks (QBs) like PathDojo and PathPrimer, which can be costly. ChatGPT, a free tool, has been used to generate MCQs for other tests like the SAT. This study compared the quality of pathology MCQs created by ChatGPT versus commercially available study questions for the American Board of Pathology’s (ABPath) certifying exams. A rubric adapted from the National Board of Medical Examiners’ (NBME) question writing guide was validated by two pathologists using commercially available pathology board exam questions. In this review, we focus on group IV one-dimensional devices for quantum technology. We outline the foundational principles of quantum computing before delving into materials, architectures and fabrication routes, separately, by comparing the bottom-up and top-down approaches. We demonstrate that due to easily tunable composition and crystal/interface quality and relatively less demanding fabrications, the study of grown nanowires such as core–shell Ge-Si and Ge hut wires has created a very fruitful field for studying unique and foundational quantum phenomena. This study experimentally investigates the effects of prolonged radiation exposure on mechanical properties of high-strength, highly crystalline polyethylene (PE)/thermally reduced graphene oxide (TrGO) nanocomposite films for space applications. Prior to irradiation, PE/TrGO films were found to have tensile strengths up to ~4 GPa, more than 40 times that of conventional space-deployed membrane films (e.g., those used in solar sails) and over 59× the specific tensile strength. The PE/TrGO films were subjected to three radiation conditions to simulate space environmental conditions: 90Sr beta radiation (0.2 to 2.5 MeV), 80 keV electron beam irradiation, and 4.9 eV ultraviolet (254 nm) exposure. …

The West Mountains plutonic complex is a series of intrusive bodies, presently located in Idaho, that formed during a continuous period of Early to mid-Cretaceous magmatism in the northwest North American Cordillera. Granitoids of the West Mountains plutonic complex were emplaced across the boundary between accreted terranes and Laurentia following the Jurassic accretion of the Blue Mountains Province. New U-Pb zircon crystallization dates from the West Mountains plutonic complex ranging from 130 to 109 Ma and new zircon εHf isotopic compositions ranging from +12.1 to +4.7 suggest the complex is older and compositionally distinct from the younger than 85 Ma …

Details of the Late Jurassic tectonic evolution of the North American continental margin remain controversial, but a clear understanding of Late Jurassic tectonics is essential for understanding subsequent terrane accretion and displacement. Upper Jurassic strata of the Galice Formation in the western Klamath Mountains province and the Mariposa Formation in the Western Sierra Nevada metamorphic province were deposited along the margin of North America during this critical time. The Galice and Mariposa Formations have long been correlated, and these strata are the youngest rocks deformed during Late Jurassic Nevadan deformation in Oregon and California.
