Fubini Collocation Method For Numerical Solutions Of Differential Equations With Quadratic And Cubic Nonlinearities, Kübra Erdem Bi̇çer, Havva Türkhan

In this study, the Fubini collocation method is proposed for the approximate solution of nonlinear differential equations. The method utilizes fundamental relations involving Fubini polynomials and their derivatives, employing collocation points to enhance solution accuracy. Within this framework, the given differential equation is transformed into a system of nonlinear algebraic equations involving the unknown coefficients of the approximate solution. This resulting system is then solved using appropriate numerical techniques to obtain the approximate solution. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated through several test problems, with accuracy evaluated using absolute error functions. Semantic data management streamlines data exchange and aggregation, ensuring information is available and extractable. Cospectrality Results For Signed Graphs With Two Eigenvalues Unequal To ±1, Willem H. Haemers, Hati̇ce Topcu

Recently the collection G of all signed graphs for which the adjacency matrix has all but at most two eigenvalues equal to ±1 has been determined. Here we investigate G for cospectral pairs, and for signed graphs determined by their spectrum (up to switching). If the order is at most 20, the outcome is presented in a clear table. If the spectrum is symmetric we find all signed graphs in G determined by their spectrum, and we obtain all signed graphs cospectral with the bipartite double of the complete graph. Introduction Gestational weight gain (GWG) is an important indicator of maternal nutrition to be monitored during pregnancy. However, there is no evidence-based tool that can be used to monitor it across all geographic locations and pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI) categories. The WHO is undertaking a project to develop GWG charts by pre-pregnancy BMI category, and to identify GWG ranges associated with the lowest risks of adverse maternal and infant outcomes. Halogen bonding is a highly directional, noncovalent, intermolecular interaction which has been harnessed for a variety of applications, including sensor design. A halogen bond (XB) is formed between a region of positive electrostatic potential on a halogen atom (X) and electron rich portions of target molecules. The strength of XB interactions relies on shorter XB bond distances and more linear R–X···B bond angles, which facilitate stronger, more negative binding energies. While prior studies have sought to maximize interactions, few have explored or experimentally demonstrated how geometries and bond angles can enhance XB interactions. We introduce a class of null hypersurfaces of Lorentzian manifolds, namely Codazzi normalized null hyper surfaces, whose (screen) shape operator associated with the rigged vector field is a Codazzi tensor. Several examples are given to support our study. Moreover, we investigate conditions implying that the induced Riemannian screen structure on a Codazzi-type normalized null hypersurface of a Lorentzian space is locally a nontrivial warped product.

In this article, we study certain characteristics of nearly vacuum static equations on almost Kenmotsu manifolds. It is established that an η-Einstein almost Kenmotsu manifold allowing nearly vacuum static equations is of constant scalar curvature and either the solution is trivial or, the manifold reduces to an Einstein manifold. Next,  nearly vacuum static equations on (κ,μ)-almost Kenmotsu manifolds and generalized (κ,μ)'-nullity distribution are considered and we obtain several interesting results. Moreover, we illustrate that if a 3-dimensional Kenmotsu manifold allows nearly vacuum static equations, then the manifold is locally isometric to the hyperbolic space Η3(-1). The Giant Geode of Pulpí is a unique mineralogical phenomenon worldwide, remarkable for its large selenite gypsum crystals. Its recent development as a tourist site and inclusion on UNESCO’s Tentative World Heritage List, highlight the need to assess the impact of visits on its conservation. This study investigates airborne particle dynamics inside the Geode, focusing on tourist activity and natural ventilation. We measured deposition rates and composition of airborne particles using passive traps and a continuous laser-optical particle counter. Microenvironmental variables linked to ventilation, such as temperature and radon gas concentration (²²²Rn), were simultaneously monitored. Results show a predominance of …

Something in his youth must have sparked an interest in science because he traveled 100 miles east to The University of Minnesota where he earned a bachelor’s in chemistry. Next, he earned a doctorate from the University of Wisconsin, and did postdoctoral work at the University of California Los Angeles. In recent years, hybrid organic–inorganic metal halides have been at the forefront of materials research. Typically, the functional (e.g., optoelectronic) properties of hybrid halides are derived from the inorganic structural part, whereas the organic structural units can add extra advantages in terms of stability, rigidity, and processability. Here, we report the design, synthesis, and characterization of two new hybrid materials in which the outstanding photophysical properties originate from the organic structural part. The new compounds, (C15H16N)2CdCl4 and((Br)C15H15N)2CdCl4, have 2D layered Ruddlesden–Popper-type perovskite structures. These hybrids are blue-white …

It further explores the analysis and estimation of particulate matter (PM) concentration from both day and night scenes under varying weather conditions, using degraded visual data as a primary input. The dusty and molecular torus is an elusive structure surrounding supermassive black holes, yet its importance is unequivocal for understanding feedback and accretion mechanisms. The torus and accretion disk feed the inspiraling gas onto the active nucleus, launching outflows that fundamentally connect the active nucleus’s activity to the host galaxy. In this work, we utilize the aperture-masking interferometric mode onboard the JWST to achieve a resolution of 0.08" at 4.3 μm and bring out the fainter features in the central 10 pc of the Circinus galaxy. Reconfiguration examines relationships among solutions to a problem. Power domination models placement of monitoring units that allow monitoring of an entire electrical power network, and information about modifying one monitoring solution to another has applications. The study of token addition and removal and token jumping reconfiguration graphs for power domination is initiated. Some results established here can be extended by applying the methods used for power domination to reconfiguration graphs for other parameters. The SCSD is a public school district in St. Charles, with, on average, 4500 students a year. The SCSD is subdivided into an early childhood center, six elementary schools, two intermediate (5-6,7-8) schools, and two high schools. Vocational schools are also within this district but were not included in this report. The SCSD is concerned with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their district’s population and on the number of students that needed assistance with lunch. While the F region is the primary focus of many ionospheric models because it contains the peak electron density, the E region is an important region for ionospheric conductivities and high-frequency radio propagation. This study analyzes modeled E regions from the newly developed PyIRI and E-PROBED models. A long-term comparison of E region predictions from E-PROBED and PyIRI with ionosonde observations is performed for three sites spanning low- (Fortaleza, Brazil), mid- (El Arenosillo, Spain), and high-latitudes (Gakona, Alaska). Introduction:

In this study, we introduce the design and implementation of PDBMine, a large-scale, queryable platform for mining sequence-structure statistics from the Protein Data Bank (PDB). PDBMine enables rapid analysis of local conformational trends across proteins by extracting dihedral angles and sequence patterns at scale. In addition to the design and implementation of PDBMine, we also present results validating its ability to return structurally meaningful information.

Effective and safe treatments for neglected tropical diseases caused by parasites, such as Chagas disease and sleeping sickness, remain lacking, posing a significant challenge for researchers worldwide. The rational design of dimeric compounds inspired solely by the pharmacophoric core of benznidazole (2-nitroimidazole) has proven to be a promising strategy for antiparasitic development. Thus, in the present work, it was increased the linker between the active units (2-nitroimidazole) to improve the interaction with TcNTR, facilitating the bioactivation of the longest dimers. This paper develops a systematic and geometric theory of optimal quantization on the unit sphere 𝕊2, focusing on finite uniform probability distributions supported on the spherical surface—rather than on lower-dimensional geodesic subsets such as circles or arcs. We first establish the existence of optimal sets of n-means and characterize them through centroidal spherical Voronoi tessellations. Three fundamental structural results are obtained. First, a cluster-purity theorem shows that when the support consists of well-separated components, each optimal Voronoi region remains confined to a single component. The study goal was to examine the interactive physiological effects of two freshwater inflow stressors, nitrate pulses coupled with salinity decrease, on the seagrass Halodule wrightii. A microcosm experiment was designed to approximate an observed freshwater inflow event. Over a 13-day period plants were subjected to three sequential salinity drops (S35→ S23→ S15→ S5) with nitrate-nitrogen added simultaneously at 0, 30 or 60 µM.
