Many scholars interpret Chinese Aesthetics with the Kantian theory of genius because they seem to form a parallel: similar innate and spontaneous mental talents that exceed normal cognition and imagination generates beautiful arts with similar extraordinary qualities. I argue that projecting Kant’s genius to illuminate the creative power analogically, i.e., the carefree-wandering mind, is infeasible. The theory of genius assumes a critical project that stipulates a valuable way to exercise the power of judgment. Word Segmentation And Reading Comprehension Among Advanced Learners Of Chinese, Helen H. Shen, Dexin Dai

This study investigated college Chinese a second language learners’ word segmentation error patterns in reading instructional-level Chinese sentences, the relationship between word segmentation errors and reading comprehension, and learners’ perspectives on the role of word segmentation in reading comprehension. The results showed that the learners made five types of word segmentation errors. Four of these types moderately correlated with reading comprehension. The survey data showed that most learners considered word segmentation skills important in reading comprehension. This perception became stronger as the learning level advanced. The learners suggested that three factors hindered them from performing accurate word segmentations.

This thesis explores how Taiwanese citizens perceive women in the workforce and at home, with a specific focus on how working mothers in Taiwan are perceived. The first section provides a literature review of perceptions of women in and out of the workforce in Taiwan and how policies surrounding maternity leave and breastfeeding can impact these perceptions. The second section will detail the findings of an original survey that asks the Taiwanese respondents their opinions regarding women in the workforce, division of labor in the home, breastfeeding, and gender roles. 明代章回小說《西遊記》取材於唐朝僧人玄奘前往天竺取經之事，經過多朝流傳和創作，為其取經道途增添了不少神秘色彩。及至明代成書時增入不少女性角色，其中包括鐵扇公主、白骨精和觀音菩薩等。這些女性角色不僅是故事情節的推動者，更在不同角度上對小說的發展產生了深遠的影響，體現出對於女性多面性的看法和反思。

本研究旨在探討這三個女性角色的形象特色及其對《西遊記》的發展在小說敘述手法、佛教、道教及社會文化角度的意義，進而分析三個女性角色的形象和《西遊記》四大主題的呼應關係，如何令小說整體更豐富多樣。

本文分六章，第一章為緒論，討論研究背景、目的和方法；第二章概述《西遊記》的四大主題；第三章到第五章分別討論鐵扇公主、白骨精和觀音菩薩的形象特色、形象意義探討和與四大主題呼應的關係；最後第六章總結全文內容並重申觀點。

論秦觀詩的句法與詩境—從「詩似詞」之辯還原秦觀多元文學創作風格, Hing Wan, Angel Chan

秦觀，北宋婉約派代表人物，其詞的創作成就無用置疑，但導致其詞名之高常掩蓋其詩名，故其詩在後世的討論度不及其詞。關於秦觀詩，因元好問對《春日》一詩的批評，於是世人常以「女郎」風格概括秦觀詩的整體風格，且偏重研究呈現嫵麗風格的詩作，對其他詩作有所忽略，基於詩莊詞媚的原則，於是產生「詩似詞」之論。

有鑑於此，本論文欲先打破此偏見，又選取具代表性的詩作，仔細分析其句法和詩境，旨在探究秦觀多元化的創作風格。本論文由四大章節組成，緒論部分將論述相關文學時代背景與文學概念，並在此基礎之上闡述本論文的研究動機、研究回顧與研究方法。第二章為「詩似詞」之辯，說明世人對秦觀詩誤讀之處，逐一釐清和解釋，並從中證明秦觀信守詩詞分畛的原則。第三章論秦觀多元的文學創作風格，以徐培均的《秦觀詩詞文選評》為依據，按順序整合出「清新嫵麗」、「清曠華潤」、「沉鬱灰暗」和「嚴重高古」四種風格，並抽取具代表性的詩作，仔細分析詩作的句法和詩境如何呈現出該藝術風格。第四章為結論部分，總結本論文的內容。

從意象分析秋瑾詞風的轉變, Hoi Yan Lee

秋瑾是晚清著名的革命家及詞人，共著有詞39首。秋瑾多變的人生經歷影響她的創作，她年少時居於湖南，婚後遷往北京，後來赴日留學，而秋瑾的詞風亦從前期的婉約轉變為後期的尚武。前人一般以秋瑾赴日為分界線，把她的詞作分為前後二期，本文則稍作改變，將分界線提前，將其居於北京的時期劃歸為後期，來探討秋瑾詞風的轉變。

秋瑾前期詞的創作，主題皆圍繞大自然及少女情懷，多為兒女私情。遷到北京後的經歷燃起秋瑾的救國思想，認清國家正處於危亡之際，她藉詞表達自己救國的決心。秋瑾的救國情緒在赴日後更為熱熾，決心親身上戰場殺敵，最終為國捐軀，英勇就義時年僅33歲。

曾有學者指出秋瑾前後期詞的差異極大，令人難以相信是由同一詞人創作。但本文認為情況並不如此，本文從其詞作所使用的意象入手，來分析前後期詞的差異及一致性，藉以證明其一致性是主要的，仍屬同一詞人的創作。

一步錯、步步錯，我們在人生這局巨大的棋盤中，曾有幾何做過後悔終生的事？棋局無數，而人生卻只得匆匆一場。落子一錯，往後的棋路皆亂了陣數，回首卻是非岸，只好偏執了思想繼續在湧浪中上掙扎人生的路向，在無垠的苦海中猛烈游盪。

本作的主角，在上個世紀出生的同性戀者——許文德的人生即是如此。
然而，到底是逢一出生就注定的悲劇，抑或是個人選擇所導致的窮途末路？在這個可憐可悲可憎的人物中所探討的，是有關人生結局的哲理思想：人之所以達至今天的局面，到底是身不由己，還是自作自受？路向的選擇權，到底是緊握在手，或是從來沒有？

蕭紅作為現代文學中一位舉足輕重的作家，長期被視作魯迅「戰士精神」的繼承人，以極度真實還原人性與社會環境的細膩描寫為證，將其主旨理解為以強力度反諷的社會隱喻深度揭露的劣根國民性。而《呼蘭河傳》雖是蕭紅最具代表性的作品之一，卻因消極的人物塑造與狹窄的背景格局被批判為是其反抗精神的「暗淡與發黴」。

值得注意的是，此書是其文學世界的盡頭，也是其生命路程的結尾。正因如此，才是其摒棄外界束縛回歸最本真自我的書寫。故而研究《呼蘭河傳》一書則更能還原作者對於社會現狀以及人生意義最真實的態度和思考。本文將著重分析《呼蘭河傳》一書的書寫藝術，從女性角度、寫作手法以及情感基調三個方面展開，深入字裡行間探尋作者本人真實的性格、思想，與早期的認知形象對比參照，試圖解放一個長期冠名「反抗精神」壓力下的脆弱女性形象，探尋其生命中無法擺脫的「寂寞」根源。同時，結合本書進一步分析此獨特童年經歷對其創作風格和人物形象的反作用影響。

明代約兩百七十年(1368-1644年)，期間詩經研究專著多達六百餘種1，但後人對明代解《詩》(即《詩經》下同)法的研究與重視卻不足。傳統詩經學把《詩經》當作經典，對其解讀注重考據，講求據典，強調經世治用，令《詩》作為文學本身的特點，以及解讀者的主觀感受遭到忽視。在明代中後期陽明心學影響下，出現了一批將詩經當作文學研究的解《詩》家，使詩經學走下經學研究的樊籬，戴君恩便是其中之一。

有關戴君恩生平、師承和其著作《讀風臆評》的記載寥寥，且其中許多細節已難以進一步考證。在戴氏生平背景無從稽考，而「臆評」本身又具有主觀性的情況下，文本便是最好的工具。從《臆評》序言中發現，戴氏解《詩》受到孟子「以意逆志」和陽明心學的影響，形成基於自己的理解與感受，基本不刻意參照前人解讀的基本解《詩》原則。文章還通過對《臆評》文本細讀，從章法結構、詩意詩境兩個方面總結出戴氏「臆想式解詩」兩個特點即：運用「格法」對《詩》的章法結構進行點評以及以「虛境」輔助詩意的解讀，並簡要總結「臆想式解詩」的文學性風格，以此補充目前戴君恩《讀風臆評》的研究。

台灣網絡文學隨着踏入九十年代末而逐漸興起以及發展，其中網絡愛情小說始於蔡智恆所創作的《第一次的親密接觸》。九把刀作為九十年代至今深受讀者歡迎的作家之一，其創作所涉及的題材非常寬廣，其中又以情愛書寫小說作品最受重視，例如是《那些年，我們一起追的女孩》被改編成電影後，在兩岸三地帶來放映的熱潮。在眾多愛情小說作家中，筆者欲淺析九把刀在「愛系列」中三部被改編成為電影的愛情小說。

本論文根據九把刀愛系列中的《月老》、《等一個人咖啡》以及《那些年，我們一起追的女孩》這三部小說為文本來進行分析。本論文共分為六個章節來探討九把刀的情愛小說作品：第一章〈緒論〉，提及本論文的研究範圍與目的，作者九把刀簡介及研究回顧以及三部愛情小說簡介。第二章〈九把刀的興起〉則提及台灣網絡愛情小說的發展及九把刀與其他愛情小說作家之異同。第三章〈九把刀愛情小說書寫的改變〉將會從空間以及重覆書寫兩個角度分析其變化。第四章 〈九把刀愛情小說的通俗小說特色〉中會從轉折點、副線情節發展以及智慧老人功能角色的體現三方面，探討其如何呈現通俗小說的特色。第五章〈九把刀的創作特色〉將從敘事風格幽默、後現代特質之體現以及品牌及行銷手法三個角度進行分析。第六章〈結語〉則總結本論文之研究。
