The Indonesian Journal of Socio-Legal Studies
Many of the discussions about legal education in Indonesia are similar to the ones conducted in other countries. They reflect the tension between a liberal legal education on the one hand and a vocational training on the other, as well as the tension between a legal education preparing students for legal practice and one preparing them for a broad range of generalist positions. Working in an academic law library, the primary patrons are the law school’s faculty and students. However, these may not be the exclusive patronage of the law library. Particularly in the case of a public law school library, the law librarian is likely to serve patrons outside of the law school as well. The COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed the delivery of legal education. Many courses switched to remote instruction, and that change was particularly complicated for clinical courses. For Michigan's Workers' Right Clinic (WRC), however, the pandemic brought more than a change in course delivery - it brought a huge influx of new cases and community need with rapidly and continually changing laws. This article describes how the WRC navigated and thrived, despite the rapid changes brought about by the pandemic, and how the clinic provided an opportunity for students to engage in more complex work that benefited students both academically and mentally. …

COVID-19 Pandemic Archive
Two flow charts were revised for Fall 2021 and distributed to faculty, staff and students in August 2021 under advisement from Dean Peter B. Rutledge in consultation with members of UGA's College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Population Health and the AU/UGA Medical Partnership. UGA Law Librarian Rachel Evans assisted with the graphic design aspects of this resource.
A generic template of this flow chart was also created so that other departments, schools and colleges across the University of Georgia could adapt and use this resource for their communities. That template is attached below as an additional file.
