This paper aims to study the narration techniques in Our Last Best Chance and to demonstrate the tools, backgrounds, and references that King Abdullah II’s biography was based on. The researcher follows the analytical, descriptive approach in this paper. One of the major narration techniques that his Majesty used to write about his personal and political life is the narrative form that contains “I” and “we” together. Furthermore, this paper investigates the production of the autobiographical speech for a political man, and such a speech is colored by the literary, aristics, and aesthetic aspects at the same time.

This paper draws its importance from two angles. First, it deals with a marginal Arabic text that was born in the seventeenth century. Second, its use of cultural criticism in clarifying the text's components as cultural criticism is a partner of literary criticism.
