Fluoroscopy-guided steroid injections are standard for lumbar spine pain but involve radiation. Ultrasound offers a safer, radiation-free alternative. Ultrasound-guided injections are non-inferior in improving pain and function. A systematic review of PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, Scopus, and Web of Science was conducted. Studies in adults comparing ultrasound and fluoroscopy-guided injections reporting VAS, NRS, or ODI were included. Fifteen studies showed both techniques significantly improved pain and function, with no consistent superiority. Ultrasound-guided injections are effective and safe, providing comparable outcomes to fluoroscopy while eliminating radiation exposure.

Hip osteoarthritis (OA) is a joint disease that leads to degenerative damage surrounding the femoroacetabular joint, which can manifest as degraded cartilage and increased inflammation at the joint site. There are several methods physician’s use to measure a patient's condition, and our study looks at one called the Hip Disability and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score-12, or HOOS-12. This is a patient-reported outcome measure where patients can self-report their pain and level of dysfunction in relation to their hip osteoarthritis. Anticipated convergence of malpositioned tunnels, significant graft tunnel widening, and bone loss are all indications for performing a 2-staged revision reconstruction. The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of body region (shoulder and elbow) and sex on baseline OSPRO-YF scores. Acetabular cup migration is a rare complication of hip replacement surgery. If the acetabular socket of the ilium is weak, the prosthesis can erode or pass through it. There have been multiple reports of acetabular cup prosthesis migration to the colon, creating a coloarticular fistula between the hip joint and the cecum, sigmoid colon, or rectum. The National Scoliosis Clinic's (NSC) scoliosis realignment therapy (SRT) is a personalized digital health exercise program for the nonoperative management of ASD.

OBJECTIVE: The association between pelvic trauma and urogenital injuries in adult patients is well established, whereas literature concerning pediatric patients is sparse. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between pelvic trauma and urogenital injuries in the pediatric population including incidence, and trends in injury modality, treatment patterns, imaging, and outcome. METHODS: This was a single-center, retrospective chart review. Patients aged 0-16 years admitted for pelvic fracture, pelvic dislocation, proximal femur fracture, and injury of urinary and pelvic organs over a 15-year period were included. OBJECTIVE: Clavicle fractures are common in both adult and pediatric populations.1 Yet, the literature describes differences regarding treatment in such fractures between these populations, favoring operative treatment for adults and nonoperative treatment for pediatric patients.2 There is particular uncertainty for treating a subgroup of adolescent clavicle fractures known as the Z-type comminuted fracture which, being a completely displaced and complex fracture pattern, can prove to have different healing rates than other midshaft clavicle fractures.
