This study examines librarian’s professional ethics and reference service delivery in Colleges of Education in Delta and Edo States in south-south, Nigeria. To guide the study, three research questions and one hypothesis have been formulated. The study adopted the descriptive survey design. The purposive sampling technique has been employed in the selection of data while the instrument for data collection was the questionnaire. The reliability of the instrument was estimated using test-retest method and the coefficient of 0.88 was obtained. Today’s college students have become increasingly reliant on mobile devices, using them to remain connected, knowledgeable, and social on the go. Undoubtedly, self-management skills play a critical role in students’ ability to independently set goals, monitor their progress, and evaluate and assess their performance while engaging with mobile devices for their learning. This paper will provide an overview of a survey study of mobile learning and offer some self-management recommendations to leverage and support students’ mobile learning experiences.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether exposing middle school students to content above their ability level produced significant differences in students’ confidence in their Chinese as a foreign language competence in each of the following four areas: reading, listening, speaking, and learning vocabulary. Participants (N = 30) were sixth and seventh graders. Results of paired t-test analyses indicated that there was no significant difference in student confidence in Chinese reading competence, t(30) = 0.78, p = 0.22; in Chinese speaking competence, t(30) = -0.50, p = 0.31; or to learn Chinese vocabulary, t(30) = …

Social media provides science learners opportunities to interact with content-specific messages. However, most science-specific social media content is designed to disseminate information instead of encouraging dialog. In this novel, ex post facto exploratory study of a science social media community, we sought to understand the relationships among community member interaction, design elements of messages, and post type on two digital niches (i.e., Facebook and Twitter). This study assessed the perspective, practice and barrier that mitigate the integration of Information and Communication Technologies into nursing and midwifery education in Ghana. With purposive and convenience sampling techniques, a sample size of 108 health tutors was involved in the study. The findings revealed that most of the health tutors utilised information and communication technologies in the presentation of lessons to students and the management of examination results. Social media platforms, productivity tools and E-books were the most used technologies among health tutors. If human beings use more than voice to communicate, what implications does the ability to more effectively replicate eye-to-eye contact have in collaborative distance education? This quantitative portion of a convergent complementarity, mixed-methods, exploratory study describes the design and implementation of a 5-week preservice teacher professional development (PD) experience and the associated Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) measures before and after the experience. The PD experience was designed to explicitly address participants’ domain-general and domain-specific knowledge and regulation of cognition through a highly integrated academic and clinical preparation regimen centered on a cognitive coaching model. This quantitative study was conducted to describe the extent to which self-efficacy is fostered by the type of technology integration professional development (one-to-one coaching or traditional professional development) in which a teacher participates when they later try to incorporate technology into their lessons. The aim of this study was the design, development, and evaluation of an Augmented Reality game to teach students about the local history of a Greek island. Design-based research served as the foundation of this study’s methodology. Experts in ICT in education, teachers with knowledge of the local history and primary education students participated in the evaluation of this study. The results of the evaluation showed that the game presents satisfactory levels of usability and that its content is compatible with the island’s local history.
