Honors Theses

Orthopedic medicine is changing and advancing along with the rest of the medical field. There are new concepts developing in orthopedic trauma, tissue engineering, collagen, nano-orthopedics, biodegradable implants, robot-assisted surgery and more. The changes to orthopedics are focused on the changing needs of patients, and orthopedists are also changing their ways to keep up with the demand required of them. Advancements in fields such as stem cells, imaging technology, functional tissue engineering, and robotic assistance will further propel the diagnostic and treatment abilities of orthopedic medicine.
