This study examines how artificial intelligence integration, transformational leadership, and sustainability practices collectively influence organizational resilience and performance in crisis-affected Arab economies, with a focus on Lebanese organizations navigating compound disruptions. Using a convergent mixed-methods design, quantitative data were collected from 487 managers and employees across Lebanese organizations and comparative international samples in the education, finance, NGO, and tourism sectors, complemented by 32 semi-structured interviews. Results demonstrate that AI integration, transformational leadership, and sustainability practices significantly enhance organizational resilience and performance, with emotional intelligence and affective commitment serving as critical mediators. The present study aimed to examine the relationship between cognitive dependence on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and intellectual identity distortion among postgraduate students in Saudi universities, while testing the mediating role of illusory competence inflation. A mixed-methods design was employed. Three scales developed and psychometrically validated by the researcher were administered to a sample of 393 students. In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 participants to explore their patterns of smart-tool use and self-perceptions. ABSTRACT

Content creators face significant challenges in maintaining audience engagement and social relevance amidst dynamic platform algorithms. This study analyzes YouTuber Asian Survivor's personal branding strategy in building authenticity, engagement, and audience donation motivation using a mixed-methods approach. Quantitative analysis employed t-tests and binary logistic regression on 101 videos, while qualitative analysis was conducted through in-depth interviews and observation. Results indicate that neither vulnerable nor inspiring narrative types significantly differentiate engagement levels; however, videos that successfully raised donations exhibited significantly higher engagement rates. Regression analysis proved that an increase in engagement rate raises donation probability by 2.5 times. Qualitative findings …

This study investigates the relationship between the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) and the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) at Balai Litbang Agama (the Office of Religious Research and Development) of Semarang, with particular attention to gender differences. A total of 155 respondents participated in the survey. The statistical analysis reveals no significant gender differences in either corruption perception or public satisfaction. It also indicates a moderate positive correlation between transparency measures and public satisfaction, suggesting that improved governance practices enhance public trust. This study examines the impact of ski tourism on Colorado’s retail marijuana (RMJ) sales, leveraging county-level sales data and ski resort characteristics. Using a two-way fixed effects model, we analyze seasonal variations in RMJ sales across counties with differing ski resort acreages. Our findings indicate that ski resort counties experience significant increases in RMJ sales during peak ski months (December–March), with the most prominent effects observed in counties with the largest ski resorts. The largest ski resort county– Summit County– sees an estimated seasonal increase of $4.35 million in RMJ sales. We estimate the isolated extra-state ski tourism effects and …

For parents in the United States, childcare costs are one of the largest expenses in the budget. This brief examines the childcare arrangements low-wage workers adopt, their difficulties in accessing and affording childcare, and the extent to which they utilize childcare benefits offered by their employers or the government. To do so, we use on data from the Workforce Economic Inclusion and Mobility (WEIM) survey of a nationally representative sample of low-wage U.S. workers. For these analyses, the sample includes only workers with children under the age of 6.

This article examines how intersectional ideologies and experiences of marginalization affect the extent to which African Americans support or oppose the marginalization of LGBTQ communities. We posit that awareness of the race-gender positionality of African American women, as well as the unique positionalities of other marginalized African American subgroups, is critical to understanding the conditions under which Black Americans embrace LGBTQ rights and communities. In this brief, author Kenneth Johnson reports that New England’s population grew by 310,000 between the 2020 Census in April 2020 and July 2025 and now stands at 15,432,000, according to new Census Bureau estimates. International immigration accounted for the entire population gain, offsetting an excess of deaths over births and an outflow of domestic migrants to other U.S. destinations from New England.

This study examines the relationship between decentralization and public trust in the civil service using a multidimensional framework that extends beyond conventional fiscal measures. Drawing on indicators of regional and local government autonomy across 47 countries from 1995 to 2018, the analysis yields four findings. Trust is higher when local governments, rather than regional authorities, lead service delivery; greater subnational financial self-reliance is positively associated with trust; oversight by higher tiers enhances accountability and citizen perceptions; and shared-rule arrangements that involve regional governments in national decision-making further bolster trust. In this study, we examine the existence of a reciprocal pattern of performance bias shared between citizens and street-level bureaucrats, which we term as ‘shared pessimism’, assumed to implicate public service reform. Primary data were collected using surveys administered to 207 public service providers and 248 citizen recipients across six Indonesian public service agencies operated in two regional governments. Statistical analysis was then conducted to examine bureaucrats’ self-enhancing bias and their pessimistic view of citizen ratings, as well as to clarify citizens’ tendency to underrate the performance of bureaucrats in public service organizations. Background: It is essential that studies of genomic sequencing (GS) in newborns and children include individuals from under-represented racial and ethnic groups (URG) to ensure future applications are equitably implemented. We conducted interviews with parents from URG to better understand their perspectives on GS research, develop strategies to reduce barriers to enrollment, and facilitate research participation.

Methods: Semi-structured interviews with 50 parents from URG.

Work arrangements have become increasingly varied in recent years, with much labor-market participation happening outside of traditional full-time roles. As gig work and other forms of self-employment,  contract labor, and part-time positions grow, and work arrangements diversify, employment instability is a growing concern,  especially for low-wage workers. This brief presents original evidence on the use of financial services among low-wage workers in the United States. Data come from the Workforce Economic Inclusion and Mobility (WEIM) survey administered to a nationally representative sample of 2,511 U.S. workers earning less than 250% of the federal poverty line.
