Abstract
Latour removes the boundaries between natural sciences and humanities. Science for Latour is cultural practise, at the same time in every cultural practice, nature and objects are also actively involved. In that sense, Latour's constructivism encourages the emergence of non-human actors as drivers of the societal changes. By that, he provoked sociology to expand its subject matter. The Social in sociology must be seen as an association involving human and non-human actors.

Furthermore, the authors employ the reading of différance, to explore the possibility that Unpad Geulis' beauty standards would not exist without the marginalized beauty standards. Such a reading is done by reading horizontally the text structure of Unpad Geulis, to find a new meaning that was …

In this regard, the museum functions as a place to serve learning, educational, and fun needs. However, nowadays, the museum is only considered a place to store antiques and ancient objects. The lack of museum enthusiasts is caused by the perception that museums are not significant places to broaden insight and knowledge. Besides, there is a lack of publications and information about museums. …

This study aims to elucidate the extent of community involvement in resolving the issues arising from apartment development within cultural heritage zones. It emphasizes the need for balanced community participation to achieve a win-win solution. The research …

Both are located in South Tangerang (ca.10 km from Jakarta). The term “Peranakan” indicates a mélange of identities for the Indonesian and Chinese. A closer examination of the Chinese in Indonesia reveals that during the New Order regime, the Indonesian Peranakan Chinese underwent a “repression” taking the form of various political policies and laws limiting their public roles, even attaching negative stigmas …

Pastoral Leadership As A Perceived Factor Of Changing Church Membership In South Carolina: A Phenomenological Study, Bobby L. Dukes
Pastoral Leadership As A Perceived Factor Of Changing Church Membership In South Carolina: A Phenomenological Study, Bobby L. Dukes
Doctoral Dissertations and Projects
The role of a pastor comprises many duties and responsibilities within the church; some have led to chaos. Clinton et al. (2005), states many churches are mired in a significant leadership crisis (p. 10). Pastors are called to lead people in spiritual growth, with the end goal of parishioners living a mature spiritual life for the sake of Christ, not the contrary. The enormity of pastoral leadership has a lasting effect. Kristin Tabb (2017) claims that relatively minor church hurts leave people with a burned-out feeling during service, while the more serious wounds leave parishioners soul-scarred and physically sick at …

Taxing The Gender Gap: Labor Market Effects Of A Payroll Tax Cut For Women In Italy, Enrico Rubolino
Taxing The Gender Gap: Labor Market Effects Of A Payroll Tax Cut For Women In Italy, Enrico Rubolino
Upjohn Institute Working Papers
This paper studies the labor market effects of a large payroll tax cut for female hires in Italy. Starting in January 2013, the payroll tax rate paid by the employer for female hires was reduced by 50 percent for a period of 12 months for temporary jobs and 18 months for permanent jobs. Eligibility for the tax cut depends on the time elapsed in nonemployment status and varies discontinuously by the worker’s municipality of residence, age, and occupation. Combining social security data on the universe of Italian private-sector workers with several empirical approaches, I find that the tax cut increases …
