Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs) are an important mental health resource for crisis intervention. PHPs support clients transitioning between levels of care or aiming to avoid a higher level of care, provide safety and stabilization, offer services such as group therapy and medication management, and oversee referrals. This study investigates the helpfulness of an art therapy mapmaking intervention for adolescents in crisis at a PHP location. The design of this program drew from Narrative Therapy concepts.
