One of the underlying factors contributing to the low revenue of Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) lies in the suboptimal utilization of PAD sources, notably stemming from shifts in economic structures, tax capacity, and imposed retributions. This study aims to analyze the inequality of PAD potential between regencies and municipalities, which results in the ratio of PAD to Local Government Budget (APBD) in regencies being significantly different from municipalities. In American ballet companies, female dancers’ weights factor into decisions regarding hiring, casting, and promotions. However, female dancers are now using social media to speak out against fatphobic organizational practices. This paper analyzes personal accounts of size discrimination posted to Instagram and YouTube by high-profile veteran ballerinas of New York City Ballet. It also includes interviews with professional Gen Z ballerinas (in companies spanning the US), who discuss current fatphobic practices in companies and schools. Utilizing qualitative coding, this paper seeks to disarticulate thinness from artistry and to urge mental health as a priority in American ballet.

The study entails how social media usage and parasocial relationships with social media influencers impact the audience’s purchases as a consumer. The survey covers a wide range of questions discussing the different social media platforms, how often they engage on them, and how often they click and engage with advertisements and influencers. It also covered questions that collected the participants' demographics to better understand which groups are more likely to be influenced by advertisements and influencers. The Tri-Learner model of Extension Collaboration offers an innovative approach to address community needs and advance research by convening faculty from academic research, statewide Extension, and community-embedded Extension. This article describes development of a new Tri-Learner Model through an early childhood resilience project, with data from 32 participants. We present four key factors for the model’s success: First, ensure that research and application are responsive to community needs rather than University-driven. Second, establish trusting, reciprocal relationships. Third, equally value each team member’s knowledge and skills. Finally, leverage collaborative University structures and/or funding to foster reciprocal partnerships to maximize research impacts.

The literature reviewed sought to understand how music therapy helps children with trauma regulate their emotions, process heightened emotional states, practice social skills, build self-esteem, and support identity development. This thesis comprises a rationale paper and a creative project advocating for an integrated approach to mindfulness for trauma survivors that prioritizes trauma sensitivity and body-oriented somatic practices. It is important because trauma is a pervasive social issue with profound psychophysiological impacts on survivors, and current mindfulness offerings often fail to adequately address their needs, causing confusion or possibly re-traumatization. "Correctional staff behavior can impact inmates’ perceptions of procedural justice and facilitate incidents of prison misconduct and violence. This analysis showed findings gathered from 136 female inmates incarcerated in a state correctional system. This exploratory analysis examined inmates’ self-reported responses about direct experiences, perceptions, and interactions with correctional officers. Findings from 19 Likert-scale items highlighted inmates’ encounters with correctional officers, however, results shown here focused on findings uncovered from a content analysis performed on inmates’ written comments to an open-ended item. The emerging themes portrayed correctional officers as disrespectful, indifferent, misusing authority, and dehumanizing."

"Internships play a crucial role in the educational and professional training of students. This article presents a qualitative evaluation of the benefits and challenges of an undergraduate internship through an examination of self-reflective journals completed by 20 seniors majoring in criminal justice. Findings were organized into five major themes: knowledge acquisition, professional development, personal development, affective development, and awareness of the realities of the criminal justice system. The most frequently cited benefits included increased learning, the ability to apply coursework to the internship experience, and improved career readiness. This study explores the methods and techniques used by the perpetrators of disinformation campaigns in the context of Canadian elections. This research also examines whether the disinformation discovered during the election falls within criminal foreign interference. Critical discourse analysis is used to qualitatively analyze 26 articles published by a Northeastern U.S. based independent news website within the ten months leading up to the election. A fundamental strategy for reducing nutrient runoff from lawns and landscapes is the implementation of recommended fertilizer management practices (FMPs). Our study evaluated Louisiana urban and suburban homeowners’ current FMPs using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) constructs. We measured homeowners’ attitude, perceived norm, perceived control, intention, and past behavior regarding 12 salient FMPs. The results of our study identified which recommended FMPs to adopt and which non-recommended practices to change. To effectively modify homeowners’ FMPs, we recommended designing tailored Extension educational programming to target the TPB constructs most strongly related to homeowners’ decision to perform these practices.
