The research question guiding this study was: What is the perceived understanding of technology use by clinicians for their work with clients? Fourteen participants completed an online qualitative survey exploring their experiences with technology and media in clinical practice. A thematic analysis revealed four primary themes. The first theme, variations in counselor online media usage, highlighted differences in how counselors engaged with online platforms for education, client connection, and self-care. The second theme, counselor assessment of, and dialogue around, online media use, captured varying levels of intentionality in exploring clients’ digital habits, ranging from minimal inquiry to regular, structured discussions. …

Through a qualitative content analysis of YouTube news broadcasts posted between May and June 2020, coupled with thematic analysis of popular comments that viewers posted in response, this research explores media narratives and public understanding of a pivotal moment of an ongoing racial justice movement. This thesis examines how state-level environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations influence corporate ESG performance in the United States. Using a panel dataset that combines state ESG legislation, firm-level ESG scores from S&P Global, and financial data from Compustat (2019–2024), I employ fixed-effects regression models to analyze the relationship between state ESG regulations and corporate ESG performance. The analysis incorporates firm and year fixed effects to account for unobservable heterogeneity across companies and time, while controlling for firm-specific characteristics. This study evaluated the predictiveness of the WISC-V, NEPSY-II, CPT-3, and CATA when compared to each other in a sample of 272 children aged 8–16. Archival data was analyzed using binary and multinomial logistic regression models to assess concurrent validity of specific subtests and indexes. Participants were grouped by ADHD subtype (inattentive, combined/hyperactive, or no diagnosis), with gender and executive functioning measures included in the models. Findings indicated that lower Cognitive Proficiency Index (CPI) and executive functioning scores (e.g., Animal Sorting, Response Set) predicted any ADHD diagnosis compared to the no diagnosis group, whereas higher CATA scores predicted lower Inattentive …

This study sought to understand the mental health of Korean-American elderly immigrants using the theoretical frameworks Erikson’s Stages of Psychosocial Development and Interpersonal Psychotherapy Theory (IPT). To achieve this purpose, this study incorporated a qualitative thematic analysis and conducted in-depth interviews with 10 elderly Korean immigrants living in the United States. The research question and sub-questions were framed using three ACF hypotheses that addressed advocacy coalitions, collective action, and policy change. My research showed how actors in the policy subsystem worked to promote policy change during the study period. การย้ายถิ่นภายในประเทศไทยมากกว่าร้อยละ 10 มีจุดหมายปลายทางไปสู่กรุงเทพมหานคร ซึ่งส่งผลสำคัญต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงพลวัตของประชากรเมืองอย่างรวดเร็ว อย่างไรก็ตาม ระบบทะเบียนราษฎรไม่สามารถสะท้อนการเคลื่อนย้ายดังกล่าวได้อย่างทันท่วงที กล่าวคือ จำนวนประชากรที่อาศัยอยู่จริงมีสูงกว่าจำนวนประชากรตามทะเบียนราษฎรอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ จึงนำไปสู่การเกิดขึ้นของกลุ่ม "ประชากรแฝง" ที่ยังไม่ได้จดทะเบียนในพื้นที่ ซึ่งย่อมส่งผลให้การจัดสรรทรัพยากรและการบริหารจัดการเมืองไม่สอดคล้องกับความเป็นจริง งานวิจัยฉบับนี้แบ่งการศึกษาเป็นสองส่วน สำหรับส่วนแรก เพื่อทำความเข้าใจลักษณะและรูปแบบเชิงพื้นที่ของการย้ายถิ่นเข้าสู่กรุงเทพมหานคร ผู้วิจัยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากสำมะโนประชากรและเคหะ พ.ศ. 2533 2543 และ 2553 ด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา อีกทั้งยังมีการผนวกข้อมูลการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินและข้อมูลรายรับจากภาษี เพื่อทดสอบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยเชิงพื้นที่กับการย้ายถิ่นเข้าสู่พื้นที่ด้วยการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุ โดยผลการศึกษาพบว่า จำนวนผู้ย้ายถิ่นเข้าสู่กรุงเทพมหานครมีเปลี่ยนแปลงตามช่วงเวลา โดยมีการลดลงใน พ.ศ. 2543 และกลับมาเพิ่มขึ้นใน พ.ศ. 2553 นอกจากนี้ ยังพบการเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปแบบการกระจายตัวของผู้ย้ายถิ่น โดยใน พ.ศ. 2533 มีการกระจุกตัวในเขตกรุงเทพฯ ชั้นใน แต่หลังจากนั้นขยายตัวออกสู่เขตกรุงเทพฯ ชั้นนอกอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเพิ่มขึ้นจาก 1.02 แสนคน เป็น 2.07 แสนคน ในช่วงระยะ 20 ปี ทั้งนี้ผลการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุชี้ให้เห็นว่า ความหนาแน่นของประชากร รูปแบบการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดิน และรายได้จากภาษีท้องถิ่น ล้วนเป็นปัจจัยเชิงพื้นที่ที่มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกสำหรับผู้ย้ายถิ่นที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติร้อยละ 5 ขณะที่สัดส่วนวัยแรงงานมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงลบที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติร้อยละ 10 สำหรับการศึกษาส่วนที่สอง ซึ่งเป็นการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยกำหนดความตั้งใจอยู่ต่อของประชากรแฝง โดยใช้ข้อมูลระดับบุคคลจากการสำรวจการย้ายถิ่น พ.ศ. 2557-2564 ผ่านแบบจำลองสมการโครงสร้าง (Structural Equation Modeling: SEM) พบว่า แบบจำลองสำหรับประชากรแฝงที่พำนักอยู่ในกรุงเทพมหานครมากกว่าหนึ่งปี มีความสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ในเกณฑ์ดี (RMSEA = 0.04, RMR = 0.06, CFI = 0.96) โดยปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจมีอิทธิพลโดยตรงสูงสุดต่อความตั้งใจอยู่ต่อของประชากรแฝง (β = 0.30) ในขณะที่ปัจจัยด้านประชากรมีอิทธิพลทางอ้อมผ่านระยะเวลาการพำนักในระดับต่ำกว่า (β = 0.08) ซึ่งผลลัพธ์นี้สอดคล้องกับกลุ่มประชากรแฝงที่พำนักไม่เกินหนึ่งปี จึงอาจกล่าวได้ว่า โอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจเป็นกลไกหลักในการกำหนดการตัดสินใจตั้งถิ่นฐานของประชากรแฝง โดยสรุปแล้ว การศึกษานี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่า การย้ายถิ่นเข้าสู่กรุงเทพมหานครได้รับอิทธิพลจากปัจจัยเชิงพื้นที่ ในขณะที่ความตั้งใจอยู่ต่อของประชากรแฝงถูกกำหนดโดยปัจจัยทางเศรษฐกิจในระดับบุคคล ซึ่งถือเป็นหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ที่ชี้ให้เห็นถึงความจำเป็นในการกำหนดนโยบายบริหารจัดการเมืองที่สอดคล้องกับบริบทพื้นที่ โดยการบูรณาการการวางผังเมือง นโยบายตลาดแรงงาน และการปรับปรุงระบบทะเบียนราษฎร เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิผลในการบริหารจัดการประชากรเมืองในระยะยาว

การศึกษาพลวัตทางสถานะสุขภาพของประชากรสูงอายุมีความสำคัญต่อการเตรียมความพร้อมระบบสาธารณสุขในอนาคต โดยปกติการวิเคราะห์มักใช้แบบจำลองหลายสถานะ (multi-state model) ผ่านข้อมูลการติดตามระยะยาว (longitudinal data) อย่างไรก็ตาม ด้วยสภาพความจำกัดของข้อมูลประเภทดังกล่าวในประเทศไทย งานศึกษาฉบับนี้จึงได้พัฒนาแบบจำลองหลายสถานะรูปแบบมาร์คอฟ (Markov) โดยประยุกต์ใช้ข้อมูลภาคตัดขวาง จากการสำรวจประชากรสูงอายุในประเทศไทยสองรอบล่าสุด คือ พ.ศ. 2564 และ 2567 เพื่อประมาณค่าความน่าจะเป็นของการเปลี่ยนสถานะทางสุขภาพ ระหว่างสถานะอิสระ พึ่งพิง และการตาย ในช่วง 3 ปี รวมทั้ง เพื่อคาดประมาณประชากรจำแนกตามสถานะทางสุขภาพ จนถึง พ.ศ. 2579 และประเมินความเป็นไปได้ในการบรรลุเป้าหมาย เรื่องอัตราส่วนประชากรสถานะอิสระต่อประชากรสถานะพึ่งพิง ตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์ชาติระยะ 20 ปี ด้านสาธารณสุข ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความน่าจะเป็นของการคงอยู่ในสถานะอิสระ และการคงอยู่ในสถานะพึ่งพิง จะมีแนวโน้มลดลงเมื่ออายุเพิ่มขึ้น ในขณะที่ความน่าจะเป็นของการเปลี่ยนสถานะจากอิสระเป็นพึ่งพิงกลับมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับธรรมชาติของการเสื่อมถอยทางสุขภาพ และการเพิ่มขึ้นของความเสี่ยงในการเสียชีวิต ซึ่งสะท้อนผ่านแนวโน้มของความน่าจะเป็นในการเสียชีวิต ทั้งจากสถานะอิสระและสถานะพึ่งพิง ที่สูงขึ้นตามอายุ โดยในเชิงทฤษฎี ผลการศึกษายืนยันการดำรงอยู่ของปรากฏการณ์ความย้อนแย้งระหว่างการเจ็บป่วยและการเสียชีวิต (morbidity–mortality paradox) กล่าวคือ ประชากรเพศชายมีความน่าจะเป็นของการเสียชีวิตจากสถานะอิสระสูง แต่มีความน่าจะเป็นของการเข้าสู่สถานะพึ่งพิงต่ำ ในขณะที่ประชากรเพศหญิงแม้จะมีแนวโน้มอายุยืนยาวมากกว่า แต่ต้องใช้ชีวิตร่วมกับสถานะพึ่งพิงเป็นระยะเวลานาน นอกจากนี้ สำหรับการประเมินความเป็นไปได้ของอัตราส่วนเป้าหมาย ที่คำนวณจากประชากรคาดประมาณ พ.ศ. 2579 การศึกษาพบว่า อัตราส่วนภาพรวมทุกกลุ่มอายุที่คำนวณได้สูงกว่าเกณฑ์เป้าหมายเป็นอย่างมาก โดยเฉพาะเพศชาย อย่างไรก็ตาม ค่าที่สูงนี้อาจไม่ได้สะท้อนว่าประชากรจะมีสุขภาพดีอย่างแท้จริง เนื่องจากเป็นผลกระทบจากอัตราการเสียชีวิตที่สูง จึงส่งผลให้ตัวหารของอัตราส่วนมีค่าน้อย อีกทั้งเมื่อวิเคราะห์รายกลุ่มอายุกลับพบว่า ประชากรเพศหญิงที่มีอายุ 81 ปีขึ้นไป มีอัตราส่วนต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์เป้าหมาย ผลการศึกษานี้จึงชี้ให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญของการพิจารณารายละเอียดของประชากรอย่างถี่ถ้วน เพื่อค้นหากลุ่มประชากรที่เปราะบางทางสุขภาพ และนำไปสู่การพัฒนานโยบายสาธารณสุขที่เฉพาะเจาะจงสำหรับแต่ละกลุ่มประชากรอย่างแท้จริง
