This research attempts to study the relationship between leadership style and employees resistance ‎to change at industrial firms in Jordan. A simple of (191) employees is selected from (3) of the largest ‎industrial firms.‎ Results show an overall “above – average” degree of resistance to change, the same degree of ‎resistance under associated with democratic leadership style.‎ Results, also, show that authoritarian leadership style is positively associated with resistance to ‎change (organizational, subjective, economic, and culture dimension), and democratic leadership ‎style is negatively correlated with organizational dimension of resistance only (and not other ‎dimension). Water samples were collected monthly during 1999, from four sites, of different habitats. The ‎study revealed the existence of a total of 120 phytoplankton species, composed of 76 ‎Bacillarophyte, 37 Dinoflagellate, 3 Cyanophyte and 4 Chliorophyte species. Moreover, the ‎study also revealed considerable physio - chemical variations in their water, as well as ‎considerable variations in chlorophyll a. The physio - chemical variations of water, in the four ‎stations most likely is responsible for the variations of the phytoplanktonic species found in ‎them and their population densities.

Employment Elasticities In The ‎Palestinian Territories: A Standard ‎Analytical Study For The Period ‎‎1970-1993‎, Basem Makhoul

This study estimated employment elasticities in the Palestinian Territories, between 1970-‎‎1993, at the aggregate and the sectoral levels by using regression analysis. It was found that ‎the demand for labor within Palestinian Territories was influenced by the volume of ‎production, labor cost, and employment during the previous period, however, the degree of ‎influenced differed from one economic sector to another, and between the West Bank and ‎Gaza Strip. This, therefore, requires attention when it comes to the drawing up of economic ‎policies to encourage employment.
