Abstract The U.S. Congress created and adopted the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA) to address foreign diplomatic immunity matters. The purpose of this generic qualitative study was to analyze the policy implications of implementing FISA by public administrators. Mettler and SoRelle’s policy feedback theory provided the theoretical foundation for this study. The area of interest for this study was the 50 U.S. states with a focus on two metropolitan areas that include a large diplomatic contingent. Special education researchers and practitioners have increasingly demonstrated that disability accommodations may afford students with disabilities (SWD) enhanced opportunities for academic success. However, disability accommodations have primarily been designed and delivered within the context of the traditional classroom settings in higher education. This basic qualitative study explored how students registered with disability services describe access to online learning accommodations in higher education. AbstractThe purpose of this quantitative longitudinal correlational study was to examine whether positive social bonds with caring, supportive family, prosocial peers, and spouses/partners were significantly predictive of non-reoffender status using archival data from a sample of female offenders who were under community supervision in the state of Michigan during the years 2011–2014. The study had three interval predictor variables: positive social bonds with family, prosocial peers, and spouse/partner. AbstractAntenatal stress disrupts autonomic nervous system (ANS) equilibrium within the neuro-cardio-utero-placental (NCUP) structure perpetuating treatable conditions of depressive-based gestational hypertension disorders. The present ANS-based study of the NCUP system investigated the effect of coherence-based stress resilience (CBSR) post-4-week intervention. This quasi-experimental research design involved experimental (n = 8) and waitlist control (n = 3) conditions. Controlling for pretest values, quantitative pre-post methodology was used to assess the effect of CBSR to evaluate change in variables.
