Today’s media landscape is wholly unlike that which existed when Cover first discussed narrative and the nomos; specifically, the status of television as both a cultural messenger and object of scholarly study has changed significantly. Accordingly, this article contemplates narrative in the contemporary media environment, specifically, television as an essential source of narratives. To enhance understandings of the roles television narratives play and which narratives play a role, this article employs an empirical perspective. Surveying Media Theory, it outlines research on television effects, including when and why television’s representations of law can impact audience attitudes, behaviors, perceptions, knowledge, and judgements. …

This response briefly argues that post-phenomenology has always cut across the transcendental-empirical divide and is able to cultivate a deep respect for technologies in their otherness, without denying their relation to humanity. It does this by revisiting Don Ihde’s genetic phenomenological variations and tracing its relation to Gilbert Simondon’s ontogenesis. Having set up the historical nature of objects, the second part of this paper will take up Yoni Van Den Eede’s call for a more speculative approach.

This report aims to assess the potential of agrivoltaics (combined solar and agricultural systems) for development geographically proximate to the six Michigan (MI) communities that have set 100% renewable energy (RE) goals. I focus on one major research question: What is the total acreage of low-impact sites available for utility-scale (USS) agrivoltaics development proximate (within county boundaries) to MI communities with 100% RE goals? SAM is used to estimate land acreage required for a 10 MW agrivoltaic system development. ArcGIS Pro is used to determine the total acreage of low-impact sites proximate to MI communities with 100% RE goals.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการชี้นำการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมในบุคคลที่มีลักษณะการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมที่แตกต่างกันเพื่อลดพฤติกรรมการอู้งานในการทำงานเป็นกลุ่ม กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ นิสิตปริญญาตรีอายุ 18 – 24 ปี จำนวน 171 คน การศึกษานี้เป็นการศึกษาแบบ Factorial 2X2 (ลักษณะการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุม X การชี้นำการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมภายใน) ในลักษณะของการศึกษาแบบกึ่งการทดลองผ่านออนไลน์ โดยมีพฤติกรรมการอู้งานเป็นตัวแปรตาม งานวิจัยมีการเก็บข้อมูลแบ่งเป็นสองช่วงตอนการศึกษา โดยช่วงตอนแรกจะเป็นการทำแบบสอบถามผ่าน Google Form เป็นมาตรวัดลักษณะการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุม (เพื่อแบ่งกลุ่มผู้เข้าร่วมการวิจัยออกเป็นกลุ่มที่มีลักษณะการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมภายใน และภายนอก) จากนั้นจะมีการนัดหมายผู้เข้าร่วมการวิจัยมาเข้าร่วมในช่วงตอนที่สองผ่าน Zoom Meeting เพื่อสุ่มเข้าเงื่อนไขจัดกระทำเงื่อนไขใดเงื่อนไขหนึ่ง (เงื่อนไขชี้นำการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมภายใน หรือเงื่อนไขควบคุม) จากนั้นทำการวัดพฤติกรรมการอู้งานโดยให้ผู้เข้าร่วมทำงานระดมความคิดออนไลน์ เมื่อเสร็จสิ้นแล้วผู้วิจัยทำการอธิบายจุดประสงค์ที่แท้จริงให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมการวิจัยฟัง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ลักษณะการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมและการชี้นำการอ้างอิงแหล่งควบคุมไม่มีปฏิสัมพันธ์กันต่อพฤติกรรมการอู้งาน อีกทั้ง 2 ตัวแปรดังกล่าวยังไม่มีอิทธิพลหลักต่อพฤติกรรมการอู้งานอย่างมีระดับนัยสำคัญ อย่างไรก็ตามผู้วิจัยกลับพบว่าตัวแปรเพศมีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการอู้งานในงานวิจัยนี้ เนื่องจากผู้เข้าร่วมการวิจัยเพศชายมีแนวโมที่จะมีแรงจูงใจในการทำงานระดมความคิดออนไลน์ (คิดการใช้งานของมีด) มากกว่าเพศหญิง เป็นข้อค้นพบว่าตัวแปรเพศนั้นสามารถมีอิทธิพลต่อพฤติกรรมการอู้งานได้เช่นกัน หากงานดังกล่าวเป็นประเภทงานที่ผู้ชายกับผู้หญิงมีแรงจูงใจในการทำต่างกัน อย่างไรก็ตาม งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาแบบกึ่งการทดลองในลักษณะทำผ่านออนไลน์ อาจทำให้มีข้อจำกัด จึงต้องการการศึกษาต่อยอดในอนาคตต่อไป

The data is collected from 15 respondents who were local stakeholders of Samui island, they are those who live and work in Samui for more than 10 years, aged between 24-45 years old. Youth probation is the most common form of punishment for youth in the United States criminal legal system, with nearly a quarter of a million youth currently under supervision. Yet the role youth probation conditions play in the incarceration of youth has not been the focus of legal scholarship. We ask whether AACSB accreditation has a meaningful impact on university admissions. To do this, we explore 16 U.S. institutions which first achieved this certification recently. We, first, document a modest, but nonzero, impact on university-wide undergraduate applications, without any changes in first-year enrollment, price, or quality of the incoming student body. Restricting attention to business schools, while initial evidence suggests that the accreditation is associated with a decrease in enrollments, we show that this is complicated by non-parallel trends prior to accreditation. Compared to their comparison institutions, universities who seek out accreditation were experiencing flatter business enrollments. Correcting for …

This study examines why the passing rates of African Americans on the CBEST are the lowest in California at 60%. Madkins (2011) identified licensure testing as a significant reason why African Americans cannot enter the teaching progression. According to Darling-Hammond et al. (2016), California has an ongoing credentialed teacher shortage. An even more significant need is for teachers of color. According to the California Department of Education (2021), 60% of the state’s educator workforce is White, while the state student body, multicultural and multilingual, is only slightly more than 22% White. Animal Sentience

How an animal reacts to a sensory stimulus is often used to assess whether that animal can experience feelings such as pain and pleasure. This behavioural path is typically complemented with reference to how a human would normally respond to and experience an analogous stimulus. Together, these approaches can lead to a “hard to imagine otherwise” argument for feelings. It is time to go beyond these qualitative assessments and to now determine whether a nervous system can execute the neural functions necessary for sentience.

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบระดับความสมดุลระหว่างชีวิตกับการทำงาน 2) ศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบระดับความสุขในการทำงาน และ 3) ศึกษาภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานของบุคลากรกลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ของสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ เป็นการศึกษาแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed-Method Research) โดยการศึกษาเชิงปริมาณได้ศึกษาจากประชากรกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 81 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน สถิติเชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ T-test และ One-Way ANOVA สำหรับการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพเก็บข้อมูลด้วยการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ (Key Informant) จำนวน 12 คน โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บุคลากรกลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ของสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ มีระดับความสมดุลระหว่างชีวิตกับการทำงานในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านสติปัญญามีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุด และด้านการเงินมีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด และปัจจัยด้านสำนัก/กอง ที่แตกต่างกันมีผลต่อระดับความสมดุลระหว่างชีวิตกับการทำงาน ในส่วนของระดับความสุขในการทำงานในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านความพึงพอใจในงานมีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดและด้านความรื่นรมย์ในงานมีค่าเฉลี่ยน้อยที่สุด และปัจจัยสำนัก/กอง และอายุงานที่แตกต่างกันมีผลต่อระดับความสุขในการทำงาน โดยปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานบุคลากรกลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ได้แก่ ปัจจัยหัวหน้า ผู้บังคับบัญชาหรือผู้บริหาร ปัจจัยเพื่อนร่วมงาน ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวกับงาน ปัจจัยด้านค่าตอบแทน สวัสดิการ และปัจจัยวัฒนธรรมองค์การ โดยเมื่อเกิดภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานเลือกที่จะพูดคุยกับเพื่อนร่วมงาน การพักผ่อนทำกิจกรรมอย่างอื่น หรือเอาตัวเองออกมาจากที่ทำงาน ดังนั้น ผลการวิจัยนี้สามารถนำไปใช้เป็นข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายที่มีต่อสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติเพื่อธำรงรักษากลุ่มวัยเริ่มทำงาน (First Jobber) ให้คงอยู่กับองค์การ อาทิ การปรับเปลี่ยนระบบการทำงานให้มีความยืดหยุ่นมากขึ้นเพื่อลดขั้นตอนการทำงาน การสนับสนุนสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการทำงานเพื่อให้เกิดความพึงพอใจส่งผลให้มีประสิทธิภาพในการทำงานมากขึ้น และการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีระหว่างผู้บริหารกับบุคลากร

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์พื่อศึกษาระดับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากร และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1 ในการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ ผู้วิจัยเลือกใช้การวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน (Mixed Method Research) โดยกำหนดให้การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) เป็นการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1, ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มบริหารงานบุคคล, และ ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มพัฒนาครูและบุคลากรทางการศึกษา ในขณะที่การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) เป็นการสำรวจความคิดเห็นของผู้ปฏิบัติงานจริงในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต1 จำนวน 68 คน ด้วยแบบสอบถามออนไลน์ และนำมาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติ SPSS โดยใช้สถิติการแจกแจงความถี่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ย และการทดสอบค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1 อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด เมื่อพิจารณาถึงปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานพบว่า ปัจจัยจูงใจด้านลักษณะของงานที่สร้างสรรค์และท้าทายมีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานด้านคุณภาพของงาน และด้านความรวดเร็วเป็นอันดับ 1 และปัจจัยจูงใจด้านความรับผิดชอบในงานมีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงานด้านปริมาณงานเป็นอันดับ 1 อย่างไรก็ตามปัจจัยภูมิหลังทางประชากรและสังคมทุกตัวแปรไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพการปฏิบัติงาน ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นว่าภูมิหลังทางประชากรและสังคมของบุคลากรในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสระแก้ว เขต 1 ไม่ได้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับความสำเร็จของ “สระแก้วโมเดล” แต่ประการใด แต่สิ่งที่สำคัญมากกว่าและสมควรได้รับการส่งเสริมคือการสร้างปัจจัยจูงใจในการทำงานอย่างเหมาะสม

สารนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษายุทธศาสตร์อินโด-แปซิฟิกของสหรัฐอเมริกาและความสัมพันธ์สหรัฐอเมริกากับออสเตรเลียในห้วงปีค.ศ.2017-2023 ตลอดจนผลกระทบด้านความมั่นคงภายในภูมิภาคอันเกิดจากผลลัพธ์การดำเนินนโยบายดังกล่าว โดยผู้วิจัยจะใช้กรอบทฤษฎีสัจนิยมเชิงป้องกันเพื่อประกอบการวิเคราะห์บทบาทและพฤติกรรมของสหรัฐอเมริกา จากการศึกษาด้วยกระบวนการวิจัยเชิงเอกสารควบคู่กับพิจารณาสหรัฐอเมริกาผ่านกรอบการวิเคราะห์ได้ข้อค้นพบว่า ยุทธศาสตร์อินโด-แปซิฟิกของสหรัฐอเมริกาส่วนหนึ่งเกิดขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนทัศนะที่มีต่อพฤติกรรมของจีนในบริบทการเป็นภัยความมั่นคงซึ่งคุกคามเสรีภาพและเสถียรภาพในระบบระหว่างประเทศ สหรัฐอเมริกาจึงดำเนินนโยบายโดยมีออสเตรเลียเป็นพันธมิตรผู้ให้ความร่วมมือ ส่งผลให้ในห้วงปีค.ศ.2017-2023 นั้น เกิดผลลัพธ์จากการดำเนินงานและความสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าว ได้แก่ ความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงของรัฐมหาอำนาจทั้งสี่ (The Quad) และความร่วมมือทางยุทธศาสตร์ด้านความมั่นคงฉบับใหม่ (AUKUS) ซึ่งสร้างข้อกังวลว่าอาจยั่วยุให้เกิดปฏิกิริยาโต้ตอบจากจีนและสภาวะกลืนไม่เข้าคายไม่ออกต่อสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค อย่างไรก็ตาม ท่ามกลางความกังวลถึงผลลัพธ์เชิงรุกนั้น เมื่อพิจารณาข้อความที่ระบุในเอกสารสำคัญทางยุทธศาสตร์ของสหรัฐอเมริกาตลอดจนคำแถลงการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องพบว่า สหรัฐอเมริกามองท่าทีและบทบาทตนเองเป็นเพียงการตอบสนองต่ออิทธิพลของจีนซึ่งคุกคามความมั่นคงในภูมิภาค ขณะเดียวกันสหรัฐอเมริกายังให้ความสำคัญต่อประเด็นความมั่นคงรูปแบบใหม่โดยพัฒนาความร่วมมือแบบทวิภาคีกับออสเตรเลียผ่านการประชุม AUSMIN ทั้งยังพลิกบทบาทเพื่อร่วมมือกับจีนในการแก้ไขปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งสะท้อนว่าสหรัฐอเมริกาพร้อมร่วมมือกับทุกฝ่ายเพื่อจัดการต่อสิ่งที่ตนมองเป็นภัยความมั่นคง

การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่อง “ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากร กรณีศึกษา กรมสรรพสามิต” มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาทฤษฎี แนวคิด และวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรม 2) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต 3) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหา อุปสรรค และแนวทางส่งเสริมการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ บุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต จำนวน 375 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้เครื่องมือแบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) การสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิตในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านการนำไปใช้จริงอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด รองลงมาเป็นด้านการสนับสนุนส่งเสริมความคิด และด้านการเกิดความคิดริเริ่ม ตามลำดับ 2) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลที่แตกต่างกันส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรไม่แตกต่างกัน 3) ปัจจัยการบริหารจัดการส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากร โดยด้านกลยุทธ์ส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรมากที่สุด 4) ปัจจัยสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากร โดยสภาพแวดล้อมเชิงสังคมส่งผลต่อการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรมากที่สุด 5) แนวทางส่งเสริมการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมของบุคลากรกรมสรรพสามิต พบว่า (1) ควรจัดทำระบบฐานข้อมูลด้านนวัตกรรมของกรมสรรพสามิตเพื่อรวบรวมเป็นคลังความรู้ด้านนวัตกรรม และเผยแพร่ผลงานนวัตกรรมให้บุคลากรสามารถเข้าถึงได้ (2) ควรมีการฝึกอบรมเฉพาะด้านการพัฒนาทักษะการคิดให้แก่บุคลากรทุกประเภทและทุกระดับ (3) ควรให้บุคลากรทุกประเภทและทุกระดับมีโอกาสเข้าร่วมงานประกวดรางวัลนวัตกรรม โดยบูรณาการระหว่างการจัดกิจกรรม ณ สถานที่ตั้ง (Onsite) และทำการถ่ายทอดสดกิจกรรม (Online) เพื่อให้บุคลากรเกิดการเรียนรู้และสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมในนวัตกรรม

งานวิจัยเรื่อง “การศึกษาเชิงเปรียบเทียบทิศทางการปรับตัวกองทุนประกันสังคมเพื่อรองรับสังคมผู้สูงอายุ” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์นโยบายของสำนักงานประกันสังคมในการรับมือกับวิกฤติสังคมผู้สูงอายุและเสนอแนะแนวทางเพื่อให้กองทุนประกันสังคมมีเสถียรภาพ โดยเป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากการถอดบทเรียนการบริหารกองทุนประกันสังคมในประเทศเยอรมันและญี่ปุ่น การศึกษาค้นคว้าเอกสารและกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้อง รวมทั้งการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้บริหารของสำนักงานประกันสังคมจำนวน 3 คน พบว่ากองทุนประกันสังคมของประเทศไทยมีความเสี่ยงขาดสภาพคล่องและล้มละลายในอีก 30 ปีข้างหน้า การปรับปรุงแก้ไขกฎระเบียบและกฎหมายใดเพื่อให้กองทุนมีความยั่งยืน มักพบกับปัญหาอุปสรรคจากการทำประชาพิจารณ์และการรับฟังความเห็นจากภาคประชาชน การแทรกแซงจากฝ่ายการเมือง ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย จากนายจ้าง ลูกจ้างและรัฐบาล (ไตรภาคี) ภายใต้การบริหารงานของคณะกรรมการประกันสังคม ข้อเสนอแนะในการปรับตัวเพื่อรองรับวิกฤติสังคมผู้สูงอายุ กองทุนประกันสังคมควรเปลี่ยนสถานะเป็นนิติบุคคลเพื่อความคล่องตัวในการบริหารอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ควรพิจารณาอย่างรอบคอบในการปรับเพิ่มเพดานเงินสมทบขั้นต่ำ ขยายเวลาอายุเกษียณ และการปรับปรุงสิทธิประโยชน์ให้สอดคล้องกับโครงสร้างรายได้ของแรงงานที่อยู่ในระบบประกันสังคม นอกจากนี้ ภาครัฐควรพิจารณาออกมาตรการส่งเสริมการเพิ่มจำนวนประชากรให้เพียงพอต่อการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ และสามารถรักษาระดับเงินกองทุนให้อยู่ในระดับที่เหมาะสม

However, little research has been done about leadership styles and effectiveness in North American Division (NAD) of Seventh-Day Adventists (SDA) higher education institutions. The purpose of this critical multiple case study was to discover three music teachers’ and one Multilingual Learner resource teacher’s perspectives on the strengths and areas of growth in pedagogies for teaching Multilingual Learners in choral music ensembles. Common areas of strength included: student-centered learning, culturally responsive teaching, and positive classroom environment. Following the dimensional-categorical model of personality functioning, this study used archival data to examine the degree to which narcissism and entitlement determined engagement in violent acts and treatment completion. The study reviewed MCMI-III/IV scores, discharge summaries, and violence histories for a sample of 105 individuals who were referred for forensic outpatient services by the court. This study used archival data from an outpatient community training clinic that included the Strong Interest Inventory (SII), tests of intellectual functioning, and tests of executive functioning.
