This piece focuses on the connection of the mind and body. Neither is separate and both affect each other. Physical health can affect your mental health and vice versa, as the body is a connected system inside and out. As someone who suffers from chronic physical pains as well as diagnosed anxiety that feels like an unbearable mental pain, this artwork incases the feeling of being overloaded by the painful sensations. Climate change poses the greatest threat mankind has ever seen, not since WW2 is the damage potential so great for humanity. Humanity’s understanding of the dangers that climate change presents isn’t something new, newspaper archives show articles warning about the dangers of carbon output into the atmosphere as early as 1912 (Roney and Otamatea). Despite our knowledge of the dangers, the actions necessary to fight climate change aren’t being taken because of the risk to profits it presents for companies.

Journal of Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership in Quality & Safety

Background: The advantages of a specialized training program have led to over 84 postgraduate training programs for Physician Assistants (PAs) covering over 25 specialties. Employee lateral mobility is more prevalent within the PA profession, which allows PA providers to switch between medical specialties. The versatility of PAs promotes higher turnover rates compared to physician counterparts. These high turnover rates can result in increased institutional burden. Postgraduate PA programs provide pre-employment exposure to more in-depth medical training, enabling a well-rounded knowledge base of the PA’s roles and responsibilities, minimizing turnover rates.

There has been little research conducted about Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs). Even so, previous research suggests that CERT programs present a viable option for increasing a community's disaster resilience by increasing preparedness education and building interpersonal bonds among community members. Still, additional research indicates that measuring the success of CERT is challenging to quantify. This study seeks to determine what makes a CERT program successful and effective.

Method

Starting by highlighting the main banking sector’s inefficiencies in Lebanon, as well as the bad investment practices that have led to the current financial crisis, a full business model that could restore confidence in the Lebanese banking sector, and increase its profitability in the foreseeable future is proposed. This new business structure tackles three main areas including, cost reduction, liabilities management, and income generation, is suggested with evidence on how this model could play a major role in the upcoming recovery period and lead to positive financial results.

Fast Moving Consumer Goods Sector In India – Tending Towards Oligopoly?, S. Anupama, Dhanisha Dharmajan, Rajiv Nair

We study the performance of the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, in India. It is the fourth largest sector in India. Macroeconomic factors, modern production techniques, robust logistics facilities, efficient distribution networks and superior marketing capabilities have given the sector an edge over the other sectors. Firm performance is determined by considering liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios and also by employing common size statements, and comparative statements. We find that the sector appears to be overly dependent on the performance of a few firms. We further find that firm performance is not related to non-commercial factors such as CSR.

This conceptual article proposes a cooperative entrepreneurship framework with a producer cooperative enterprise start-up model to contribute to addressing the complex consequences of the social, political and economic challenges affecting the Arab world. The article argues that the adoption of a producer cooperative enterprise start-up model will contribute to future proofing entrepreneurship in the Arab world, and avoid a return to a preference for public sector employment that will stifle the sustainable social and economic development of the region. Human trafficking is a pervasive form of modern-day slavery. Despite increased resources being devoted to fighting these atrocities, human trafficking numbers are rising (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 2018). Unfortunately, due to the covert, criminal nature of exploitation, research regarding human trafficking and its impact on survivors has been limited.
