The economic effects of climate change vary across both time and space. To study these effects, this paper builds a global economy-climate model featuring a high degree of geographic resolution. Carbon emissions from the use of energy in production increase the Earth's (average) temperature and local, or regional, temperatures respond more or less sensitively to this increase. Each of the approximately 19,000 regions makes optimal consumption-savings and energy-use decisions as its climate (or regional temperature) and, consequently, its productivity change over time. Almost half of those who start therapy drop out early (Thalmayer, 2018). When therapists work to improve the therapeutic alliance, clients are more likely to stay in treatment and chances of recovery improve (D'Aniello et al., 2018; Escudero & Friedlander, 2017). However, the existing research comes almost entirely from client self-reports of the alliance. Little research has examined what occurs during the session. There has been no research to determine what specific therapeutic alliance behaviors are related to early termination. The Paul Lensky, MD Photograph Collection contains 27 black and white photographs, each about 3.25" x 4.5" in size. The snapshots depict Dr. Lensky's friends and colleagues at Jefferson Davis Hospital on Buffalo Drive in Houston, Texas. While most photographs appear to be set in Houston, at least one was taken in Monterrey, Mexico. The photographs are dated 1947-1948, corresponding with Dr. Lensky's time at Jefferson Davis. Early 3 March 2020 was a devastating night for many middle Tennessee residents. A strong EF-3 tornado tore through Nashville at 65 mph, and another EF-4 killed 18 in Baxter and Cookeville alone. Residents of the Southeastern United States are particularly vulnerable to tornadoes. This study aims to better understand local forecasting challenges by looking at the types of storms that produce tornadoes. Storm types, also known as convective modes, divide tornado-producing storms into categories by length, shape, multiplicity, and intensity. Previous resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) research has identified aberrant connectivity in several large brain networks in depression, including the default mode (DMN), frontoparietal (FPN), and salience networks (SN). Connectivity of these networks is also related to depressive symptom severity and is affected by cortisol levels. To our knowledge, this is the first study to investigate the effects of acute cortisol administration on rsFC of DMN, FPN, and SN in individuals varying in depression history and severity. The Mac Suzuki Photograph Collection, MS 196, contains 838 color slides of 35 mm film taken by Mac Suzuki, MD. Most of the images were taken in Japan between 1948 and 1952 while Dr. Suzuki’s worked with the Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission. This material was donated by the children of Dr. Suzuki. The images are good condition although there is some evidence of vinegar syndrome. Most of the slides are Kodachrome with rich color and very sharp images depicting rural, tourist and work related scenes. A few slides are an off-brand of film, which account for the vinegar syndrome. See …

Qualitative modes of research have been working their way into the mainstream of psychological research. Unfortunately, social psychology has largely resisted this trend, despite the particular utility of qualitative research for investigating social phenomena. Curiously, as qualitative research becomes more widely accepted in psychology, much of the discourse surrounding these approaches has revolved around the procedural dimensions of qualitative inquiry.
