Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) on 2020 have a positive effect on the implementation of a constitution and at least democracy for measuring political participation, the elections that were held after reform started from a Regional Head who was elected by the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), then elected directly by the community (one man one vote). The direct election then became a simultaneous election in all parts of Indonesia. Until the latest development, namely the presence of a single candidate. The Single Candidate then implies the Empty Box as a companion because there are no candidates or no eligible candidates. …

Webometrics Analysis Of Websites Of Private Engineering College Of North India: A Study Through Google Search Engine, Rima Hazarika

Library Philosophy and Practice (e-journal)

The study examines and explores the websites of 20 private engineering colleges in North India through a webometric analysis. The data have collected through the Google search engine. Webometrics is a tool for measuring the impact of the web. This study investigates the domain systems of the websites, analysis the number of web pages and link pages, and calculates the internal and external links. The result found that the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani with 65 (7.20%), ranks first with the highest Domain Authority, and Amity University Noida leads with the highest Page Authority of 84 (7.22%). …

Research Aims: This study explores the antecedents of customers’ behavioural intention to purchase on the social media platform. In addition, the T.E.A concept, the group of consequences of positive recommendation (PR), is developed by amalgamating trust (T), easiness (E), and amusement (A).

Design/Methodology/Approach: The data was collected from 260 random social media users from Myanmar. Both exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were employed to examine the observed variables, and structural equation modelling (SEM) techniques were used to estimate the hypotheses in AMOS software.

Despite evidence that shows how the support for space programs correlates with liberal political views and a lower level of religiosity, recent data suggest that more conservative positions may have an even more substantial effect under the appropriate conditions. Using the available data from Pew's American Trends Panel, we seek to clarify this interactional effect of political and religious preferences on the level of interest in the space programs and commitment to space politics support among Evangelicals as it changed during Trump's presidency. This paper studies a linear panel data model with interactive fixed effects wherein regressors, factors and idiosyncratic error terms are all stationary but with potential long memory. The setup involves a new factor model formulation for which weakly dependent regressors, factors and innovations are embedded as a special case. Standard methods based on principal component decomposition and least squares estimation, as in Bai (2009), are found to suffer bias correction failure because the order of magnitude of the bias is determined in a complex manner by the memory parameters.
