Under former Mayor Bill de Blasio, New York City launched a Community Schools Initiative (NYC-CS) in 2014 that now includes more than 300 schools, making it the largest school improvement plan of its kind in the country. Bloomberg, the previous mayor, had championed market-based reform strategies by closing struggling public schools and replacing them with privately run charter schools. In contrast, the community schools model supports struggling schools by providing them with wraparound services to address not only the academic—but also the health, social, and emotional—needs of the “whole child.” Research has shown the NYC initiative has had positive impacts …

With around 5.6 million tons of annual plastic consumption and merely 7 percent plastic recycling rate, Indonesia is facing a plastic pollution crisis. The recent progress of Indonesia’s recycling industries has provided an asset to address this crisis. In 2017, the domestic post-consumption plastic waste could only fulfil around 24 percent the domestic needs for recycled plastic, which stands at 1.65 million ton/year. Leveraging the plastic waste ‘asset’ through circular economy can fill this demand gap. Our purpose was to assess the methodological and evidence synthesis quality of meta-analyses of the therapeutic efficacy of Fitbit, Garmin, or Apple Watch-based interventions. Introduction: The objective of this study is to find the effectiveness of core muscle strength training on dynamic balance and muscle endurance among junior field hockey players. Material and Methods: The study was conducted with 30 regular junior hockey players (15 in the control group and another 15 in the experimental group). The modified Star Excursion Balance Test (mSEBT) and Biering-Sorensen muscle endurance tests are used to assess dynamic balance and endurance. تهدف هذه الدراسة الى معرفة العلاقة مابين ادوات الرفع المالي ومؤشرات الربحية , اذ تم اختيار شركات القطاع الصناعي المدرجة في سوق العراق للاوراق المالية باعتبارها من اهم القطاعات كمجتمع للدراسة وتم اختيار عينة من هذا المجتمع تتكون من 10 شركات للمدة من ( 2014-2018) , وتمحورت مشكلة الدراسة بان معظم الشركات تعاني من ارتفاع تكلفة راس المال نتيجة لعدم وجود تخطيط مسبق لوضع هيكل مالي أمثل يتناسب مع قدراتها المالية , والذي يمكن ان تصل به الشركة الى استخدام نسبة الدين وحق الملكية التي تحقق منها الشركة معدل عائد يفوق تكلفة مصادر الاموال وباقل المخاطر, ومن ثم تقديم فرشة …

هدف البحث إلى التعرف على تأثير توظيف بعض من استراتيجيات الإنتاجية الخضراء (المسئولية البيئية المشتركة، إبداع المنتج الأخضر، إبداع العملية الخضراء، الإنتاج الخضراء) في تعزيز الميزة التنافسية , من خلال اختيار عينة من ثلاث شركات مختصة بتعبئة المياه المعدنية ضمن محافظة البصرة وهي (شركة الجنائن المعلقة، شركة درة الخليج، شركة العالم)، ووظفت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي؛ وبلورت الاستبيان كأداة لجمع البيانات الأولية من عينة البحث والتي بلغت( 108 ) في الشركات محل الدراسة، وفي ضوء برنامج SPSS، وتوصل البحث إلى جملة من النتائج التالية: الشركات محل البحث تطبق استراتيجيات الإنتاجية الخضراء بدرجة كبيرة جداً (4.41)، وتعمل على تقديم سلع ومنتجات …
