Background: Reportedly, there has been a long-standing nursing shortage in Saudi Arabia. This study explored the attitudes of undergraduate student nurses considering them to be a factor contributing to this shortage. This study also investigated the association among gender, hospital exposures, and campus enrollment concerning mental health education.

Methods: Quantitative correlational analysis was used on 124 student nurses in mental health nursing. Using Point Binary, Spearman's rank and one-way ANOVA, significant determinants were correlated to the domains of mental health nursing.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the genre of music listened to and its impact on enhancing focus and concentration during puzzle-solving, as measured by completion time, across a diverse sample of individuals. The researcher, Daniyal Kheradmand, conducted the study at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) on a sample of 50 students and employees. Participants were required to solve two simple puzzles (9 pieces) while listening to their favorite music and without music. The time taken to complete each puzzle was recorded and compared. Recently, we found that dividing attention reduced recollection and familiarity for visual objects, but a different pattern emerged for auditory object memory: auditory object recollection was not affected by dividing attention. This could be attributable to differing levels of baseline performance with visual memory far exceeding auditory memory. Thus, we attempted to equate baseline performance in both modalities in order to adequately investigate the previous findings.

Recent studies suggest that 93% of children born in Mexico are breastfed their child compared to 81.1% of Nevadan women reported breastfeeding their child. Previous studies suggest that socio-cultural factors such as socioeconomic status, education level, mother’s age, acculturation, cultural beliefs, and perceptions are associated with breastfeeding. Segundo-Ortin & Calvo’s (2023) target article takes a less speculative and more evidence-based approach to plant sentience than did previous works promoting that idea. However, it retains many of the idea’s longstanding difficulties such as starting from a false dichotomy (plants must be either hardwired or sentient), not accepting the full burden of proof for an extraordinary claim, confusingly redefining accepted cognitive terms, implying cell consciousness, not adopting the most parsimonious explanations for plant behaviors, and downplaying all the counterevidence. We advise rectifying these problems before plant sentience can become a full-fledged scientific domain.
