The present study examined the function of perceived parental support in childhood on adult coping strategies. A convenient sample taken from social media collected data from fifty-three participants aged 20-68 who completed the Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaires (PARQ) and Screening Tool for Adult Children of Alcoholic Traits (STACAT). Participants indicated moderate levels of parental (maternal and paternal) rejection (M=130.61, SD=37.67). Additionally, participants reported moderate levels of adult children of alcoholic traits related to perceived parental rejection (M=99.86, SD=22.82). Results indicated a statistically significant positive relationship (r = .534; p =.001) between perceived parental acceptance-rejection and adult children of alcoholic traits, suggesting …

This essay critically re-examines Marx’s youthful analysis of the separation of church and state and his complex views about the function of rights in the modern state. I argue that Marx’s condemnation of Christian nationalism and endorsement of citizenship for Jews is consistent with his view that the modern, secular state cannot emancipate itself entirely from religiosity, as evidenced by the continuing legacy of nationalism and cultural identity politics today. Although Marx correctly follows Hegel in identifying modernity with a structural differentiation between civil society and state, I argue that he misunderstands the nature of this separation and, along with …

This research analyzes the spatial correlation between freshwater aquaculture production in Magelang Regency and the social and economic welfare of the community. Utilizing the Indeks Moran, LISA, and bivariate LISA methods, the results indicate inter-district correlations in freshwater fish production with a clustered distribution pattern. Mungkid and Muntilan districts are identified as production centers and hotspots. Freshwater fish production is also associated with community welfare, showing correlations with farmer groups despite a scattered distribution. However, the analysis of freshwater fish production and freshwater fish-based SMEs reveals a strong spatial relationship, particularly in Mungkid district, a central area fostering local development.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, spread globally, with research indicating that prognosis severity can be assessed by thrombocyte and D-dimer levels; while, patient age serves as a mortality predictor. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between age with thrombocytes and D-dimer in COVID-19 patients. This cross-sectional study used laboratory testing samples from 667 COVID-19 patients at Hospital X in Jakarta, Indonesia, collected from August 2020 until May 2021.
