This study examined the relationship between acculturation level, help-seeking attitude, and self-stigma among international students enrolled in the graduate counseling program (ICS) within the United States. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) served as the theoretical framework. Using the TPB construct in the context of mental health concerns, this study investigated the relationship between acculturation level, help-seeking attitude, and self-stigma. The data from ASSIS, IASMHS, and SSOSH were analyzed using the Pearson product moment correlation (Pearson r). Background: Sexual minority women (SMW) experience higher rates of substance use relative to heterosexual women in the U.S. but remain an under-studied population. SMW who inject drugs (SMWWID) navigate an unpredictable drug market and may experience complex relationships within their social spheres. We explore cisgender SMWWID’s strategies to maintain safety while injecting drugs, and the influence of their social support systems on those strategies. Methods: We conducted N = 16 phone-based, semi-structured, in-depth interviews with SMWWID in Baltimore, Maryland between June-October 2021. The purpose of this study was to understand when and how Black women can achieve positive identity outcomes in the workplace when they experience stereotype activation. Despite Black women's increasing presence in the workforce, they continue to face unique challenges at the intersection of race and gender, including negative stereotypes that undermine their credibility and limit career advancement opportunities. This research explored how Black women's sense of belongingness to their minority group influences their use of identity mobilization tactics when stereotypes are activated, and how these factors collectively influence their career and leader identities.

A two-part study was conducted on the qualitative and quantitative aspects of nonverbal behavior to investigate the factors that influence physical movement. The qualitative aspects of nonverbal behavior were investigated by testing the effects of academic anxiety on the amount of body language mirroring produced by a population of collegiate honors students. The honors students were induced with varying levels of academic anxiety based on groups, and were recorded to determine the quality of their movements in relation to stress level. The current study aimed to identify how manipulated sleep restriction affects dietary choices and physical activity (PA). Young adults were administered one week of well-rested sleep levels (WR: 8–9 h/night) and sleep-restriction (SR: 5–6 h/night) in their (naturalistic) at-home setting, using a randomized cross-over design. Participants made consequential bids for snacks/beverages following SR and WR in an auction task. Other primary outcome measures included daily self-reported dietary intake and actigraphy-measured PA. The 1957 desegregation crisis at Little Rock Central High School marked a defining moment in the Civil Rights Movement and continues to symbolize the broader struggle for racial equality. In water-scarce regions, natural ecosystems and agriculture increasingly compete for limited water resources, intensifying stress during periods of drought. To assess these competing demands, we applied a modified PT-JPL model that incorporates the thermal inertial approach as a substitute for relative humidity (RH) in estimating soil evaporation—a method that significantly outperforms the original PT-JPL formulation in Mediterranean semi-arid irrigated areas. This remote sensing framework enabled us to quantify spatial and temporal variations in water use across both natural and agricultural systems within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Doñana. This study explores how young Indonesian Muslims navigate their religious identity while engaging with the global Hallyu (Korean Wave) phenomenon. In the world's largest Muslim-majority nation, Hallyu has created a vibrant youth subculture that has sparked social debate about the intersection of global cultural trends and Islamic values. Using ethnographic methodology, this research gathered data through in-depth interviews with 36 participants, participant observation of K-pop dance teams and events, and analysis of social media accounts including "Hijrah K-pop" and jogjakpopersmedia.
