The study aimed to examine key factors influencing human trafficking trends through quantitative analysis of historical archival data from trafficking cases. Using a comprehensive dataset, the factor analysis design assessed variables associated with human trafficking, including age, gender, methods of control, types of labor, types of sexual exploitation, and recruiter-victim relationships. Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a prevalent mental health condition that has previously been linked to traumatic life experiences. Understanding the connection between trauma and OCD symptomatology is essential for developing clinical interventions. This study examined whether a history of abuse is related to an OCD diagnosis, whether a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) diagnosis is correlated with heightened OCD symptoms, and whether experiencing multiple types of traumas increased OCD symptom severity. Introduction: This study examines how vaccination-inclined and vaccination-hesitant U.S. college students acquired and evaluated COVID-19 vaccination information.

Methods: In 2021, we conducted 26 focus group discussions and used thematic analysis to identify patterns in information acquisition behaviors and trust in information sources.

Results: Findings revealed mismatches between frequently used and most trusted sources. Public health agencies were highly trusted but not commonly consulted first. In contrast, social media were frequently used for information scanning despite being the least trusted. Interpersonal sources (e.g., family) were identified as both a most and least trusted source. They were trusted for their good intention …

This study explores how specific managerial behaviors support social value creation in UAE-based Takaful organizations. Using the High-Performance Organization (HPO) framework - particularly the Management Quality factor - it analyzes data from 230 questionnaires and 59 interviews. Findings show strengths in trust and relationship-building, but weaknesses in decision-making, leadership effectiveness, and performance management. Compared to national and global HPO benchmarks, the case organizations scored lower, indicating cultural and organizational barriers. The study offers industry-specific recommendations and presents a practical approach for measuring the alignment between managerial behaviors and ESG, CSR, and EDI goals in Islamic financial institutions.
