This article investigates the relative importance of internal and external sources of funds in financing activities across different levels of investment activities by proposing a panel data quantile regression model with correlated random effects, accounting for heteroscedasticity in both firm-specific individuals and distribution of investment. A new estimation method, which takes the influence of disturbance into account, is proposed by using the integrated quasi-likelihood function for the conditional quantile model and Laplace approximation. Full-time career retirement is a major developmental transition that is often examined through race-neutral frameworks, leaving Black men’s experiences underexplored in counseling and aging scholarship. This perspective article centers the narrative of a retired Black man veteran who transitioned into full-time career retirement after decades of state employment. Using a narrative interview approach, this manuscript examines the factors that shaped his retirement decision and adjustment to later adulthood. The interview frames retirement as a process of self-preservation, continuity, and intentional living rather than identity loss or disengagement. This study examined the relationship among pornography use, attitudes toward pornography, and romantic relationship outcomes among adults in the United States. The hypotheses are as follows: 1. Pornography use is negatively associated with relationship satisfaction. 2. Positive attitudes toward pornography are negatively associated with relationship satisfaction. 3. Men will report more positive attitudes toward pornography than women, 4. Higher pornography use is associated with being single.  A convenience sample of 165 adults from central Arkansas completed measures assessing pornography use/acceptance and relationship satisfaction. Heavy metal pollution, particularly chromium (Cr) from electroplating industrial waste, has severely threatened environmental quality and human health. This study aims to develop a composite adsorbent material based on bentonite and god crown biomass capable of removing chromium ions from liquid waste through a combination of reduction and adsorption mechanisms. The god crown/bentonite (GC/Bt) composite was synthesized at a mass ratio of 2:1 and calcined at 900°C. Diatoms are widely recognized as sensitive bioindicators for reconstructing past water quality and ecological changes in aquatic ecosystems. In this study, multiple diatom-based indices were applied to sediment cores collected from three downstream stations of the Tuntang River, Central Java, to infer long-term environmental change in a tropical river system. A total of 38 sediment subsamples were analyzed, with dominant taxa including Fragilaria crotonensis (2.4–18.6%), Nitzschia palea (3.1–22.4%), and Aulacoseira granulata (2.0–15.8%), indicating sustained nutrient enrichment. This study aimed to isolate and preliminarily screen halophilic bacteria from mangrove sediments and seawater collected from a plastic-impacted coastal area. งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการกำจัดไอออนตะกั่วของ ตะกอนจุลินทรีย์ที่ไม่มีชีวิต โดยการเปลี่ยนแปลงความเข้มข้นของสารละลายเริ่มต้นและปริมาณการใช้ตะกอนจุลินทรีย์ ตะกอน จุลินทรีย์ที่ใช้เป็นวัสดุดูดซับในการทดลองนี้มี 3 ชนิด โดย 2 ชนิดแรก คือ AS-P และ MUR-P ได้จากระบบบำบัดน้ำเสีย Activated Sludge และ Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket ของอุตสาหกรรมน้ำอัดลม ส่วนชนิดที่ 3 คือ CASS-N ได้จากระบบบำบัดน้ำเสีย Cyclic Activated Sludge System ของโรงควบคุมคุณภาพน้ำ กรุงเทพมหานคร ตะกอนจุลินทรีย์ที่ได้จะนำมาล้างด้วยน้ำกลั่น อบแห้งในตู้อบที่อุณหภูมิ 105°C บดและแยกขนาดให้ได้อนุภาคที่มีขนาดเส้นผ่านศูนย์กลางประมาณ 106-150 ไมโครเมตร จากผลการทดลองพบว่าการดูดซับจะเข้าสู่สมดุลที่เวลา 15 นาที โดยมีเปอร์เซ็นต์การกำจัดไอออนตะกั่วสูงถึง 94-99 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ที่ความเข้มข้นของสารละลายเริ่มต้น 60 มิลลิกรัมต่อลิตร นอกจากนี้ ยังใช้สมการไอโซเทอร์มการดูดซับของ แลงเมียร์ (Langmuir adsorption isotherm) และไอโซเทอร์มการดูดซับของฟรุนด์ลิช (Freundlich adsorption isotherm) มาใช้ ทำนายผลการทดลองพบว่าสมการไอโซเทอร์มการดูดซับทั้ง 2 สมการ สามารถใช้ทำนายผลการทดลองได้ดี ค่า K_F ที่สูง แสดงให้เห็นถึงความสามารถในการดูดซับไอออน ตะกั่ว ของตะกอนจุลินทรีย์ทั้ง 3 ชนิดสูง ส่วนปริมาณไอออนโลหะหนักตะกั่วที่ถูกดูดซับสูงสุด (q_m) ของ AS-P, MUR-P และ CASS-N ที่ได้จากสมการไอโซเทอร์มการดูดซับของแลงเมียร์ มีค่าเป็น 253, 248 และ 247 มิลลิกรัมโลหะต่อกรัมวัสดุดูดซับ ตามลำดับ

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นศึกษาพฤติกรรมการ เคลื่อนที่ของอาร์เซนิคในรูปของอาร์เซไนท์ และอาร์เซเนตในสภาวะน้ำใต้ดินโดยทำการ ทดลองกับดินตัวอย่าง 3 กลุ่มดิน คือ ดินร่วนเหนียวปนทราย ดินร่วนเหนียว และ ดินร่วนปนทราย ที่ pH 4, 7 และ 10 และ ในสภาวะที่มีไอออนลบฟอสเฟตอยู่ร่วมด้วย โดยทำการทดลองแบบต่อเนื่องโดยให้สาร ละลายอาร์เซนิคไหลผ่านคอลัมภ์ดินในทิศทางไหลขึ้นที่อัตราเร็ว 15 มิลลิลิตรต่อชั่วโมง จากการทดลองพบว่าอาร์เซไนท์สามารถเคลื่อนที่ได้เร็วที่สุดในดินทรายร่วน รองลงมาคือในดินร่วนเหนียวปนทราย และ ช้าที่สุดในดินร่วนเหนียว และเมื่อมีไอออนฟอสเฟตร่วมด้วยในสารละลาย พบว่า ไอออนฟอสเฟตทำให้การเคลื่อนที่ของอาร์เซไนท์ผ่านคอลัมภ์ดินเร็วขึ้นมาก สำหรับ การเคลื่อนที่ของอาร์เซเนต อาร์เซเนต สามารถเคลื่อนที่ได้ช้าที่สุดผ่านคอลัมน์ดินร่วนเหนียวปนทราย และคอลัมน์ที่มีไอออนลบพบว่าฟอสเฟตทำให้การเคลื่อนที่ ของอาร์เซเนตผ่านคอลัมภ์ดินเร็วขึ้นมากและเมื่อเปรียบเทียบระหว่างอารีเซไนท์และอาร์เซเนต พบว่าที่ pH 4 ความเร็วในการเคลื่อนที่ผ่านคอลัมภ์ดินร่วนเหนียวใกล้เคียง กัน แต่ที่พีเอช 7 และ ไ0 พบว่า อารีเซไนท์เคลื่อนที่ได้ช้ากว่าอารีเซเนต

This paper examines Thailand's anti-Chinese policies during the period of Phibun Songkhram (1938–1944; 1948–1957), exploring why they exhibited a highly contradictory pattern of “initially hardline but ultimately compromising.” It further analyzes how this policy model objectively propelled Thailand's modernization process. The article argues that while the Phibun government implemented radical anti-Chinese measures at the levels of nationalist mobilization and symbolic politics—such as closing Chinese schools, restricting Chinese-language media, imposing occupational exclusion, and promoting nationalist propaganda—it remained economically and organizationally dependent on Chinese capital, commercial networks, and professional expertise. This paper examines the historical and performative entanglements between tablā, the dominant percussion instrument of North India, and jorī, a paired drum preserved within the Nāmdhārī Sikh community of Punjab. While previous studies have treated these instruments in terms of their historical origins or musical functions, this study argues that their relationship is best understood through forms of frictional entanglement, in which bodily technique, material conditions, aesthetic orientations, and religious practice do not align but actively interfere with one another.
