This paper's main objective is to examine the awareness and use pattern of electronic resources by doctoral research scholar’s community of the Central University of Tamil Nadu. The investigator adopted a survey method used for the study. Structured questionnaires were administered to the 100 respondents to collect data for the study and returned questionnaires were analysed using simple percentage by the SPSS software. Findings of the survey revealed that the majority of doctoral students aware of electronic resources and user education/training programs are the most important for maximum utilization of electronic resources in University Library.

Although prior research has examined the Pandemic responses of libraries in terms of physical closures and innovation in services, the impact these measures have had on library workers is largely unexplored. This study seeks to understand the impact of initial library responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic in Kentucky from March 2020 through June 2020. A survey of Kentucky Library Workers found a wide range of impacts during the initial pandemic response period, with 30.49% of respondents affected by some type of employment-related measure, and 11.28% either furloughed or laid off during this time. The role, accuracy, and skills of a team of ESL researchers who transcribed more than 3,000 English language learning histories (LLH) from university students in Hong Kong is examined in this paper. The paper provides an insight into the role of transcribers, how they approach their work, the problems they face, and how they overcome them including the conflict of their prior English language learning. A self-administered semi-structured interview and thematic analysis were used in this qualitative study. Self-citation, i.e., citing own previous studies, is a common practice but excessive and unsolicited self-citations are unethical and not considered good. The present paper intends to study the self-citations of “DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology” in terms of author-self citation, journal self-citation and author-journal self-citation during the ten year period from 2010 to 2019. The purpose of the present study was to examine the awareness and use of databases by undergraduate students of FUAM one hundred students was randomly selected out of twenty thousand three hundred and twenty four (21324) in the study. A specifically designed questionnaire was administered to gather information about the awareness and use of databases by students. Results showed that the vast majority of the participants used Internet search engines rather than specialized databases and full-text resources. The study is a secondary analysis utilizing data collected at two time periods (2000, 2006) from the Social Capital Community Survey (Saguaro, et al., 2009). The data set is a national survey of community dwelling older adults aged 55-100 (2000, N=3044; 2006, N=2011). To address the research question, three-step hierarchical regressions were conducted. Results indicated that those with better incomes, higher education, were married, Caucasian, were relatively younger, and reported higher frequency of religious attendance reported significantly better health. Forced sterilization in Black women has been an act of reproductive injustice since the abolishment of slavery. From forced surrogacy in Black slave women to forcibly sterilizing free Black women, there has been control over Black women's reproductive rights for years. With roots in slavery and lingering pieces of it in today's society, forced sterilization is an injustice to never be forgotten when it comes to the experiences of Black women.

The Human Instinct To Resilience: Clinical And Evolutionary Efficacy Of Intrinsically Motivated Stressor Exposure, Brady Barley

Environmental stressors threaten optimal behavioral functioning, and thus contribute to the development of psychopathology and exert evolutionary selection pressure. Voluntary stressor exposure has the efficacious effect of increasing resilience to future stressors in humans and other animals. This theoretical paper considers the hypothesis that intrinsic motivation toward behaviors requiring voluntary stressor exposure mitigates evolutionary selection pressure exerted by environmental stressors by inducing neural and neuroendocrine plasticity which results in increased resilience. In this view, intrinsically motivated stressor exposure is both efficacious and innate. Empirical and theoretical support for this hypothesis suggest that humans possess an instinct to resilience.
