Research on video games has largely focused on using constructs such as personality (Worth & Book, 2015), motives (Yee, 2006), and identity (De Grove et al., 2015) to explain in-game behavior, with none to date examining these variables together nor testing for mediation effects between them. The current study examined a proposed model examining the relationship between personality and behavior in video games with motivations to play video games and identifying as a gamer as mediators in 377 Destiny 2 players. High-Throughput Phenotyping Of Rice Grains Subjected To High Nighttime Temperature Stress, Shannon Shareice Cunningham

Rice grain size is affected by high nighttime temperature stress (HNT). Although studied in small subsets, the Rice Diversity Panel 1 has not been extensively studied to determine HNT effects on grain size. Accessions have been identified as tolerant and sensitive to HNT under greenhouse conditions (Dhatt et al., 2020). A high throughput phenotyping (HTPP) method and a PlantCV2 workflow were implemented in this work to determine grain dimensions. Seed area was found to be a good indicator of HNT tolerance with a coefficient of variation being 15%. Among tolerant accessions, seed area increased by an average of 1.57 mm2 …

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought restraints into people’s activities. Consequently, during the pandemic, the school guidance and counseling services should be conducted online. Therefore, this study seeks to identify the types of online media frequently used by school counselors in classical guidance and individual or group counseling, as well as the rationale. This descriptive quantitative study involved 106 school counselors and used an Online Media Usage questionnaire to obtain the data. This study aims to develop a peace guidebook as a medium for school counselors in reducing student aggressiveness. The research employed research and development design proposed by Borg and Gall model, which includes identifying aggressive needs and problems, drafting a hypothetical product, and expert and user assessment of the product. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis to describe the level of aggressiveness. In addition, this study uses Cohens Kappa’s inter-rater reliability (IRR) coefficient to identify expert and user agreement on product feasibility. The purpose of this study was to determine family resilience based on the belief system in families with Javanese and Sundanese cultural backgrounds. The method used in this study is a qualitative phenomenological method. Phenomenological studies are used to understand phenomena at the level of subjective reality. Generally, illegal mining has a positive impact on the socio-economy of all parties involved.
