Count data modeling requires usage of the Poisson regression model as a primary analytic method. Excess dispersion in variables makes the model unfit to use when the Poisson distribution mean value differs from its variance value. Data fits well with the results obtained by using the Bell regression model. Excess zeros occur frequently in the observed count data records. The Zero-Inflated Bell regression model is a substitute for the Bell regression model in this situation. Finger vein authentication is a biometric technique that uses unique vein patterns within the finger to verify identity, ensuring security by scanning veins with near-infrared light to prevent counterfeiting. The reliability of this technology and its resistance to skin disorders make it highly appreciated. The motivation for using PCANet deep learning in finger vein authentication arises from the need for a more precise, secure, and effective biometric system. Arabic script is exhibited in a cursive style, which is a departure from the norm in many common languages, and the shapes of letters are contingent on their positions within words. The form of the first letter is influenced by the subsequent letter, middle letters are shaped by both preceding and succeeding letters, and the shape of the final letter is determined by the preceding letter. Objective and Methods In recent years, regional grouting through ground directional drilling has become the preferred technique for water disaster prevention and control in floor limestones in a coal mining area. In grouting engineering, the diffusion radius of cement grout, which has always received wide attention, is constrained by multiple factors including the shear yield strength (yield strength for short) and specific gravity of cement grout, along with grouting pressure. Gelatin/sodium alginate/polyethylene oxide hydrogel was synthesized by self-gelation method and utilized to achieve enhanced mechanical strength. Japanese pagoda, tree extracts rich in flavonoids and isoflavonoids was incorporated to enhance tissue repair along with ZnO-NPs to provide the hydrogel with necessary antimicrobial and other desirable biological properties. The inclusion of Ca-BDC MOF enhanced hydrogel matrix by providing more surface area and the presence of calcium ion needed for tissue regeneration. Results revealed that composite hydrogel displayed suitable gelation time and swelling rate that was further improved by incorporating the plant extract, ZnO-NPs, and Ca-BDC MOF. The Ebbinghaus illusion, also know as Titchner Circles, is a perceptual illusion that is typically presented as a two-dimensional set of disks. These disks are configured as a central disk surrounded by an annulus of smaller or larger disks. Numerous studies have found the illusion to have an effect on size perception, but fewer studies have analyzed its effects on depth judgments. This laboratory-scale study presents the development and validation of a hydraulic fracturing technique to directly measure the tensile strength of cemented paste backfill (CPB), providing an alternative to traditional strength testing methods. Fracture initiation pressure (FIP) was used as the primary measure of CPB strength. Experimental results were compared with traditional benchmark measures such as uniaxial compressive strength (UCS), Brazilian tensile strength (BTS), and critical Mode-I fracture toughness (KIc). Regression analysis of experimental results revealed a strong linear relationship between FIP and these benchmark strength measures, indicating that FIP can be used as a reliable predictor of CPB strength.
