Exposure to cross-cultural medical education is essential for professionals aiming to work in global health or serve diverse communities. However, traditional in-person exchange programs can be complex, costly, and restricted, particularly during times when travel is limited, such as during the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges prompted us to explore novel approaches to support cross-cultural exchange programs. We designed, piloted, and evaluated a cross-cultural virtual exchange experience using case-based learning (CBL). In an effort to support student achievement and decrease disruptive behaviors, many schools have implemented the Positive Behavior and Supports and Intervention (PBIS) framework. Two critical aspects of this framework are cultural inclusion and family engagement, which are used to promote equitable and responsive practices and policies. However, research on the effectiveness of PBIS in diverse schools focuses primarily on what schools do and fails to examine the perspective and experiences of parents. The local problem that was addressed through this study is the continued underperformance of Jamaican students taking the upper level of the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), despite the assignment of coaches to support in-service mathematics teachers. The purpose of this qualitative research was to explore in-service teachers’ perceptions on the CSEC mathematics coaching received and the challenges they countered.The cognitive apprenticeship theory (CAT) was the conceptual framework. The increasing demands of educational leadership place significant stress on school principals, leading to challenges in balancing leadership responsibilities with self-care. This study explored principals’ perceptions of three key aspects: the challenges of balancing leadership and self-care, the demands contributing to stress, burnout, and turnover, and the resources that help mitigate these challenges. Guided by the job demands-resources model and mindfulness theory, this qualitative study utilized semistructured interviews with 10 elementary school principals in a southern Jamaican district. The purpose of this study was to explore multiple facets of young adolescent identity and related experiences through a scoping literature review. Based on Gardenswartz and Rowe’s Four Layers of Diversity Model, we specifically examined extant literature around five of the internal dimensions: gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, and physical ability. Two overarching research questions guided this investigation: What is the range and nature of current findings on young adolescent identity and experience? This paper proposes an innovative framework within interdisciplinary higher education courses that integrates non-zero post-humanistic design thinking and the concept of embodiment for addressing problem solving. We explore how design education can move from a human-centered approach, to a post-humanistic more-than-human approach. Central to our approach is "non- zero" thinking, emphasising collaborative solutions that benefit all stakeholders—human and non- human—recognising our shared responsibilities within ecosystems. We also introduce the notion of qualia in design education, highlighting how immersive experiences can evoke deeper emotional responses, fostering empathy and a greater understanding of complex problems. A critical element for aligning assessments to the UIS eligibility criteria is mapunderstanding minimum proficiency levels (MPLs) in reading and mathematics. The Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Centre, in collaboration with the UIS, has defined clear MPL benchmarks and developed a blueprint for assessment for the 3 educational stages under SDG 4.1.1. This presentation shared the definition and blueprint with key stakeholders at the 11th meeting of the Global Alliance to Monitor Learning in Paris from 25-26 February 2025, to ensure a shared understanding of the criteria needed for meaningful global reporting.

Objectives: The study aims to investigate the efficacy of the Poe ChatGPT-based TPACK model on EFL teachers’ performance and their students’ vocabulary learning.

Methods: I designed four instruments to gather the research data: a survey of EFL teaching skills, a teaching knowledge test, an observation checklist for assessing teacher performance, and a vocabulary knowledge test.

Results: The statistical analysis of the research data proved that EFL teachers developed their teaching performance. The statistical analysis of preparatory students’ vocabulary tests proved no differences between the experimental and control groups.

This study aimed to examine how perceived parental mental and physical health status was associated with child physical activity, screen time, and sleep. Participants were 6- to 17-year-old minors (N = 20,156; 47.9% female) from the 2022 US National Survey of Children’s Health. Dependent variables were children’s physical activity frequency, screen time, and sleep. Independent variables were parents’ physical and mental health status. Using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model, two adjusted path models were constructed. One for parent mental health associating with parental physical health, another for parent physical health associating with parental mental health–both further associating with child movement behaviors. …

Integrative field mapping combined with published and unpublished seismic profiles, support an inferred, easternmost limit of Sevier thrusting during Late Cretaceous foreland deformation in east-central Utah. East-verging thrust faults, drag folds, and chatter marks within Jurassic and Late-Cretaceous exposures at Ketobe Knob along the western margin of Cedar Mountain in the northwestern and central parts of the San Rafael Swell and within the western zone of the Colorado Plateau provide evidence for a more easterly expression of the Sevier Thrust Front. Offset is accomplished by bedding-parallel slippage along less competent shales and siltstones and by oblique ramping across more competent …
