Sulfo Aluminate-Silicate Cement Based On Phosphogypsium, N.E Shamadinova, Kh.A Adinaev, T.A Atakuziev
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
It is shown that in industrial conditions it is possible to obtain a clinker based on phosphogypsum, limestone and kaolinite clay at a roasting temperature of 200-3000C below the burning temperature of Portland cement. As a result of the research was created a low-temperature roasting cement. The obtained cements gain high solidity, especially in the initial periods. It is established that based on these cements and Portland cement can be obtained various types of cements of special purpose.

Calculation Of The Rate Of Entrainment In Three-Phase Fluidization With Solid Non-Uniform Mixtures, A.Sh Abdullaev, O.Sh Temirov, Kh.S Nurmuhamedov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
Article is devoted to determination of critical speeds of a compound from solid bodies with sharply different physicomechanical properties in a three-phase fluidized layer. Critical speeds, in particular, the speed of ablation of wab of a thin skin of root crops, in the form of a thin plate of irregular shape are defined. Results on critical speed of ablation considerably differ from the estimated values received on a formula Todes O.M. Therefore, for increase in accuracy of determination of critical speed of ablation of a three-phase fluidized layer the correlation considering a factor of the form and sailing of bodies …

Resershese Fire Wood For Production Building Konstruction, U.I Rustamov, A.J Khabibullaev, B.A Mukhamedgaliev
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
Some specific features of combustion and smoke formation of wood materials, as well as toxicity of gases released from combustion of local wood, are studied. It is established that the concentration of the released smoke and its nature depend on the structural features and chemical composition of the combustible material. It was found that the beginning of the exothermic decomposition of wood begins at a temperature of 270-280 ° C. In this process, a significant amount of heat is released during the process. For calcareous wood, the heat of decomposition is 260 kcal / kg. This heat is sufficient for …

Optimization Of The Method Of Synthesis Of Thermoplastic Copolymers Based On Acrylic And Vinyl Monomers For Shoe Suspended Materials, A.T Ibragimov, A.Z Mamatov, D.M Maxmanov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
In order to optimize the synthesis of thermoplastic copolymers for shoe sole materials, a mathematical model of the process involving acrylic and vinyl monomers has been developed. The kinetic parameters of copolymerization at the optimum content of initial monomers and the thermal processing regime are investigated. The regressive equations of the synthesis process, which takes place in the heterogeneous phase with incoming factors and outgoing copolymerization parameters, are calculated. The comparative parameters of optimization of the synthesis process, as well as the molecular characteristics and structure of copolymers with the optimal composition, are estimated mathematically by the data obtained.

Algorithms Of Stable Control Of A Matrix Object In The Conditions Of Parametric Uncertainty, U.F Mamirov
Chemical Technology, Control and Management
The problems of forming algorithms for stable control of a matrix object under conditions of parametric uncertainty are considered. Algorithms for managing the object under consideration using the matrix pseudoinversion procedure are given. Recurrent algorithms based on the fringing method are used for pseudo-inversion of matrices. These relations allow us to implement recurrent pseudo-inversion of matrices in the control algorithm and, thereby, realize control actions in the adaptive control system of the matrix object under uncertainty conditions.

Journal of Electrochemistry
A new Ni(dpim)2Cl2complex using 2-(diphenylphosphino)-1-methylimidazole (dpim) as ligand was prepared and served as a catalyst for the electrochemical reduction of CO2. The electrochemical redox behavior of Ni(dpim)2Cl2 in CH3CN/TPABF4 solution under nitrogen atmosphere showed the two-electron irreversible reduction at -0.7 V and one-electron quasi-reversible reduction at -1.3 V. After bubbling CO2 into the electrolyte, the reduction peak appeared at -1.3 V became irreversible and the peak current increased from 0.48 mA·cm-2 to 0.55 mA·cm-2. Moreover, the peak current at -1.3 V could further increase …

Simulation Analysis In Dynamic Performance Of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Under Starting Condition, Yan Xiao, Ying-Jie Chang, Wei Zhang, Qiu-Hong Jia
Journal of Electrochemistry
Based on the equivalent circuit model, by considering both the dynamic gas pressure model and the dynamic heat transfer model, a lumped parameter model is developed. The start process of the fuel cell is simulated by using SIMULINK software. The undershoot of the voltage is observed from the simulation results, and the response time of the voltage is basically the same as that of the fuel cell temperature, which indicates that the temperature has great influence on the dynamic performance of the fuel cell. From the perspective of the temperature, the dynamic responses of the thermodynamic potential, the activation overvoltage, …

Effects Of Rotating Magnetic Fields On Pem Fuel Cell Performance, Mao-Liang Wu, En-Ze Wang, Guang-De Pan, Zhong-Jun Liu, Fei Xie
Journal of Electrochemistry
Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell performance may be improved by application of additional magnetic fields. In this work, one square permanent magnet, made of either 16 combination cylinder magnets with homopolarity or 16 combination cylinder magnets with heteropolarity, was exerted on the fuel cell surface to produce additional magnetic field affecting PEM fuel cell performance. The influences of magnetic field status (rotating, static and none) on polarization and power density curves measured in a PEM fuel cell were investigated. The results verified the benefit of magnetic field, proving that the magnetic field distribution could improve the fuel cell output. …

Detecting Suicide Risk From Wristworn Activity Tracker Data Using Machine Learning Approaches, Pallavi Atluri
Electrical Engineering Theses
Suicide is a prevalent cause of death worldwide and depression is a primary concern of many suicidal acts. It is possible that an individual during depression never has any suicidal thoughts at all. On the other hand, some individuals in stable condition with no apparent symptoms of depression feel urges to commit suicide (suicidal ideation). Many such individuals never let anyone know what they are feeling or planning. Suicidal ideation considered an important precursor to suicidal acts.
Detecting the suicide risk in individuals with mood disorders is a major challenge. The current clinical practice to assess suicide risk in these …

Novelis is a company that specializes in metal casting, recycling, and rolling. They primarily focus on aluminum rolling for cans and car bodies but are an industry leader in numerous related areas. As the rolling process is not taught in most general engineering courses, Novelis periodically teaches new engineers and technicians about the specifics of this relatively mathematically complex process. Most of the current teaching methods are through PowerPoint presentations and group exercises, with minimal hands-on involvement. One of the most useful tools for teaching the rolling process is an actual jeweler’s rolling mill, which Novelis currently possesses, but is …
