this study aimed at identifying the problems
of teaching syntax in Arabic Language Departments

from the perspective of both teachers and students at

Jordanian universities. The study sample consisted

of )101( students who were randomly selected from
students who were studying Arabic language at Yarmouk

University and Jadara University in the third and fourth

years and )16( faculty members teaching courses at
Yarmouk University and Jadara University. To achieve

The Effect Of Parents Involvement On The Reading Achievement Of Their Children With Learning Disabilities, فايز العتوم, نعيم العتوم

Jadara Journal For Research and Studies

The purpose of this study was to identify
the effect of parents involvement on the reading

achievement of their children with learning difficulties.

The purposefully selected sample consisted of )60(
Learning Resource students at Jerash schools. The

sample was assigned to participation and no-participation

groups. Parents were invited to participate for 10 weeks

during the second semester 2014. Results indicated

improvement of reading achievement by students with

learning disabilities in favor of the participation group.

Results revealed statistically significant differences

attributed to gender in favor of mothers. Results also

This study aimed at investigating the level
of counseling needs in light of some variables among
the Second and Post- Basic Education Circle Students,

in addition to their parents and teachers in the Sultanate

of Oman. To achieve that, a random sample was selected

that consisted of )10134( persons: )5371( students, )3276(
parents and )1487( teachers, from the entire Sultanate of
Oman. Student counseling scale was applied on the study

Writing in different disciplines can be challenging for students whose second language is English. While this issue has received some attention in the literature, it has not been addressed in a Middle Eastern context. This study, carried out at an English-medium university in Egypt, was undertaken to examine the perceptions of undergraduate students majoring in science and engineering disciplines and their professors of the quality of the students’ writing. Bullying Prevention And Mediation: The Role Of Values Education, Janine Brown, Boris Handal, Liz Mckenna, Sandra Lynch

eJournal of Catholic Education in Australasia

The growing incidence of bullying in schools calls for alternative prevention and mediation approaches in which values are integrated into current practices. This study explores educators’ and parents’ beliefs about the explicit application of a values-based approach to bullying intervention and mediation in Catholic schools. Individual and focus group interview among teachers, principals and parents were held in three Catholic primary schools in the Sydney Metropolitan area. The study also served to identify current anti-bullying practices employed as well as to examine specific values perceived to be relevant by parents and educator in preventing and solving bullying conflicts. This section highlights high schools across the state whose students demonstrated high growth on the Arkansas ACT Aspire exams. The ACT Aspire was administered to students in grades 3 through 10 in April 2021 in Math and ELA courses which include English, Writing, and Reading.

Secondary Mathematics Teachers’ Experiences With Technology Integration In A One-To-One School District During Face-To-Face And Remote Instruction: A Phenomenography, Safna Kalariparambil

Doctor of Education in Instructional Technology Dissertations

The purpose of this phenomenographic study was to acquire a better understanding of the lived experiences of 12 secondary mathematics teachers who integrated one-to-one technology into their classrooms as part of a district-wide one-to-one technology initiative. Transcripts from semi-structured interviews were analyzed to elicit and describe different ways in which secondary mathematics teachers experienced the phenomenon. Data analysis showed teachers experienced technology integration in classrooms based on their attitude towards using technology. Those who expressed positive attitudes used technology to support modeling mathematics, differentiate learning, problem-solving, expedite grading, and provide instant feedback to students. As policymakers and school communities work to address underlying causes of achievement gaps and access to quality early childhood education, this study considers the use of 21st Century Community Learning Centers to address early childhood education needs on western U.S. state, Idaho. The study sought to understand the relationship between federal and state policies related to out-of-school opportunities to enhance early childhood education. Utilizing data from a statewide evaluation of Idaho’s 21st Century Learning Centers, the study examined 92 centers providing after school, before school, or summer programs in grades preschool through the third grade to predominately at-risk children. Journal of Educational Research and Practice

As more students elect to complete their doctoral studies online, faculty need to identify and implement mentorship approaches that are conducive to student understanding of the dissertation process. Faculty to mentee relationships are a prominent aspect of student retention and success in doctoral programs. Due to advances in technology, dissertation chairs have access to tools that allow for real-time feedback and support. Therefore, this study examined student dissertation and faculty mentorship experiences. Participants expressed satisfaction in their doctoral studies and dissertation process. However, students shared challenges associated with balancing multiple commitments, feeling lower levels of writing self-confidence, and understanding the …
