In this lesson, students will build on the previous lesson (reading and analyzing the Three Sisters chapter from Braiding Sweetgrass) by experimenting on soil in their schoolyard. Students will collect soil samples from multiple locations around their school grounds and evaluate soil texture, structure, infiltration, color, organic matter, and pH. Prior to the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, access to safe legal abortions was limited and often restricted along racial, economic, and geographic lines. Nearly fifty years later, women’s health policy evolved again following the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision overturning Roe v. Wade. This court ruling decimated federal protections of abortion. This paper presents the research that the 2022 Dobbs judicial decision may contribute to and exacerbate rape-related PTSD on 1 out of 20 American who are unable to access a safe abortion after a rape-related pregnancy. ABSTRACT

Purpose: Interprofessional education (IPE) has gained recognition as the best form of preparing health professionals for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (IPCP) in the healthcare settings. As such, many countries have inculcated IPE into the training of health professionals, but the state of IPE in the Ghana is unknown. Therefore, this study sought to explore the state of IPE and IPCP in Ghana.

Methods: The study employed a qualitative descriptive study in which 16 key informants were interviewed, and data was thematically analysed to describe the state of IPE and IPCP in Ghana.

Background: Traditional, precepted clinical practice sites continue to decline. Community health fairs (CHFs), led by experienced interprofessional faculty, present a valuable opportunity. In addition, CHFs provide students with hands-on experience in real-world settings.

Aim: This study examined the perspectives and clinical experiences of interprofessional faculty and students participating in a CHF.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Digital Assistant in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of PTI Study Program students in the mobile Programming course. The research method uses a quasi-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest control group. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes with a p value = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant influence on learning outcomes. The N-Gain value was 0.543 (Moderate) and the results of sser satisfaction questionnaire were 3.30 (Satisfied). These findings prove that the integration of AI as a digital assistant in PBL is effective in improving learning outcomes, conceptual understanding, and student satisfaction with the use of AI.

This literature review examines recent sources that explore ways to optimize the helpfulness of surveys in different information organization management contexts. In the landscape of the scholarly literature on using surveys in information organizations, three significant sub-topics for discussion emerge: strategies for incentivizing participation and completion, using surveys in combination with other assessment measures, and formulating action steps from survey results. These three sub-topics are discussed with a focus on common themes, contradictions, and gaps in existing research.

In 2022, he left to become head of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. Xiao was born in Beijing and earned a bachelor’s in physics at the University of Beijing in 1984. Next, he traveled 6800 miles east to Ohio State University in Columbus where he earned his doctorate in condensed matter physics. This study aimed to investigate faculty members’ teaching practices in the Deanship of the Common First Year in light of brain-based learning theories. A descriptive analytical approach was employed, and the study population consisted of all faculty members in the Deanship (N = 647). A questionnaire was used as the primary data collection instrument.

The findings revealed that teaching practices were rated at a high level by participants, with an overall mean score of 4.14. The preparation stage was ranked highest, followed by the elaboration stage, the acquisition stage, functional integration, memory formation, and finally quiet alertness.

This quasi-experimental study employed a switched replication design to investigate the effect of practice test timing on test anxiety and exam performance among 154 female undergraduate students. Participant groups received online practice tests either early in the semester (before the midterm) or later (before the final exam). Results indicated a significant effect of practice test timing on test anxiety. While both groups exhibited a significant decrease in test anxiety over time, this reduction was more pronounced for the group that took the practice test early. Furthermore, a significant negative correlation was found between final exam performance and test anxiety. These …

As families use savings to further their children’s education, education serves as both a key driver of wealth and an artifact of wealth itself. Despite these cyclical relationships and the ways in which education and wealth are stratified across gender, race/ethnicity, and immigration, there is little intersectional research exploring these relationships. We employ a quantitative critical approach and leverage the first nationally representative longitudinal survey that includes information on high school achievement, college savings, borrowing, college enrollment, and major of study. Storytelling has been proposed as a meaningful way to facilitate empathy and connection, particularly across neurotypes. The present study examined whether a live storytelling event influenced perceptions of the autism community, empathy, and interpersonal connection, while also exploring differences on biological sex and levels of autistic traits. Participants completed pre- and post-event measures assessing relationship perceptions and connection, along with standardized measures of empathy and autistic traits. Results showed a significant increase in positive perceptions of the autism community and perceived closeness to storytellers after the event.
