This qualitative research study examines the experiences and perceptions of students with visual impairments on diversity, equity, inclusion, access, and belonging (DEIAB) in secondary instrumental music ensembles. Despite the emergence of DEIAB initiatives in music education, little is known about how these initiatives are implemented for students with visual impairments in secondary instrumental music programs, as this topic has not yet been explored or documented due to the low incidence of this disability. The importance of this phenomenological study explains why veterans' homelessness and incarceration remain a significant problem in American Society. The purpose of the study was to describe the experiences of homeless/incarcerated veterans. The study also examined the lack of needed healthcare services for veteran prisoners and ex-offenders. Incarcerated and homeless veterans are at risk for various adverse outcomes after their release, such as a range of physical, mental, and other psychosocial problems, including moral injury. This study focused on a three-year phenomenon that occurred at five Title I California elementary schools that took part in a post-COVID-19 virtual music program where the teacher was remote and third- through fifth-grade students were together in their classrooms. This event occurred as an attempt to provide music education to students who had no access to music education. The purpose of this qualitative, single-case study was to explore parental participation in a Christian homeschool co-operative in a state in the Southeastern US, identified by the pseudonym Hope Homeschool Co-op. This study investigated the gratifications contributing to compulsive YouTube use among university students. Compulsive YouTube use, marked by an inability to regulate consumption despite negative impacts to the user, is analysed through the Uses and Gratifications Theory (U&G) and Compulsive Internet Use (CIU). Specifically, the study examined how different gratifications—such as emotional support, habitual viewing, and escapism—drive compulsive use patterns. This study tests the effectiveness of Well Managed Schools (WMS), an established classroom management program, for improving student-teacher relationship quality, teacher social skills instruction, and teacher self-efficacy. Participants were 415 Grade 1-5 teachers in 49 schools representing 24 school districts across six states in the United States. Teachers were assigned randomly to either the WMS condition (n = 210) or a usual classroom management practices control condition (n = 205). In this project, we worked alongside members from an urban farm in South Dallas to learn about issues related to food justice, urban farming, and food deserts. Using participatory design research methods, we created data visualizations showing how society can reduce inequities relating to food access produced in historically underserved neighborhoods. This study aimed to determine the relationship between educational inputs and their effect on the quality of graduates from educational faculties in private universities. The researchers developed and distributed a questionnaire to 356 university graduates, as well as another questionnaire to supervisors, principals, and heads of departments to assess the quality of the private university graduates. This study aimed to evaluate the graduate programs at Yarmouk University from students' perspectives and to investigate the effects of gender, faculty of study, and program level on their evaluations. The sample of the study included 411 graduate students. The results were based on a questionnaire divided into four domains, where participants were asked to choose the answer that best reflected their opinions regarding the programs at Yarmouk University. The study found that the students' evaluations of the programs were moderate, with a mean of 3.28 and a standard deviation of 0.67. This study investigated the effectiveness of the 'hot seat' strategy in teaching Arabic grammar on student achievement, according to some Bloom's Taxonomy levels. The study employed a convenience sample of 51 ninth-grade students from a selected school. The sample was divided into two groups: a control group (27 students) and an experimental group (24 students). Results indicated a positive effect of the 'hot seat' strategy on student achievement in Arabic grammar, both overall and individually, across several Bloom's Taxonomy levels.

In this essay, the author uses the idea of transposition to reflect on Peter Beilharz and Sian Supski's historic visit to Eastern Michigan University and southeast Michigan in October 2024. Transposition is used to deprivatize Robbins's reflections to consider broader and more generalizable concerns relative to pedagogy and educational philosophy. Further, transposition, in this regard, provided a way to reflect on the (increased) importance of friendship in academia.

The concept of utopia, which has long captivated human imagination, offering a vision of an ideal society that can be inspiring, is elusive at best and harmful in many of the actual attempts we’ve seen throughout history. This photo essay takes me through the philosophical underpinnings of Fordism’s Utopian ideas, the cultural intersections between the United States and Australia, and the enduring fascination with antiquity that shapes our modern identities (Gray, 2018). Drawing from world-systems analysis, Fordism, and utopian theory, it traces how the United States exported capitalist hegemony globally, contributing to our current interregnum. Drawing on the visit of Dr. Peter Beilharz and Dr. Sian Supski to Eastern Michigan University in October 2024, this essay explores the relationship between desire paths and our intersectional identities. Examining the impact of modernity on our lived experiences and conceptions of utopia, the essay explores the reality of the paths we must navigate daily to function in a society built on systems of power and oppression. Ultimately, the essay argues that marginalized individuals must draw survivance and insurgent lines, rather than truly desirable lines, in order to strive towards utopia.

This paper explores the concept of desire paths, unplanned routes created by people to move quickly through an environment, and their relationship to inclusivity and social justice.
