Some of the oral Surgeons might face with the problem of fixation of the jaw particularly in cases of the gun shot resulting in the comminuted fractures. In order to treat this type of patient, the splint has to be in place properly for longer period. Some of the instruments such as Rodger Anderson pins have been imported but the disadvantages can still be noticed. Leiomyosarcoma are malignant tumors that are arised from smooth muscle cells. Almost all of leiomyosarcoma are arised from smooth muscle that lined the wall of uterus and gastrointestinal tract. Leiomyosarcoma of the oral cavity extreamly rare because there is limited smooth muscle in this area. The origin of leiomyosarcoma of oral cavity is limited to smooth muscle of the blood vessel walls and the circumvallate pappillae of the tongue. The purpose of this report is to document and aditional case of leiomyosarcoma of the tongue in a Thai 42-year-old man. In vivo plaque formation was significantly reduced when tooth surfaces were subjected to topical iodine (0.2% I1⁄2 in 2.4% KI) twice daily for three days. Similarly, in vivo plaque formation was significantly reduced on enamel surfaces that had been subjected to ultraviolet irradiation. Control experiments indicated that the plaque inhibitory action of irradiation resided with its interference with bacterial cell division. ปัจจุบันประชาชนส่วนใหญ่ของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะในต่างจังหวัดต้องทนทุกข์ทรมานจาก โรคในช่องปากในสภาพจํายอม โดยรัฐไม่สามารถให้ความช่วยเหลือในด้านนี้ได้อย่างทั่วถึง เพราะแม้ แต่ในเมืองหลวงเองก็ยังประสบปัญหาทางด้านทันตกรรมอยู่ ทางหนึ่งที่จะช่วยให้ประชาชนชาวไทยมี ทันตสุขภาพที่สมบูรณ์ได้ก็โดยการประชาสัมพันธ์ เผยแพร่ความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพแก่ประชาชน เพื่อให้สามารถป้องกันรักษาอนามัยในช่องปากของตนเองได้ ซึ่งจะเป็นวิธีการที่ดีที่สุด ประหยัดและเป็นไปได้ไม่ยากนัก เอกสารทางวิชาการนี้จึงเสนอความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการประชาสัมพันธ์ เพื่อเผยแพร่ความรู้ความเข้าใจและเสริมสร้างทัศนคติที่ถูกต้องทางด้านทันตสุขภาพแก่ประชาชน ซึ่งเมื่อประชาชนมองเห็นความสําคัญในเรื่องทันตสุขภาพแล้วก็จะเกิดความต้องการเพิ่มขึ้น จนทําให้รัฐต้อง ดําเนินงานทันตสาธารณสุขของชาติให้เจริญก้าวหน้าขึ้นกว่าที่เป็นอยู่ในขณะนี้
