Co2 Adsorption Of Anthracite With Different Moisture Contents And Its Implications For Geological Storage, Zhang Jinchao, Sang Shuxun, Han Sijie, Zhang Fengbi, Xu Ang, Liu Qishan
Coal Geology & Exploration
CO2 geological storage in deep coal seams is regarded as an important pathway to achieve “2030 carbon peak and 2060 carbon neutrality goals”. The moisture content in coal seams plays a significant role in the CO2 storage capacity mainly based on CO2 adsorption. In this study, the anthracite from the Qinshui Basin was collected to conduct high-pressure CO2 adsorption isothermal experiments under dry, moisture-equilibrated and moisture-saturated conditions at 45℃. The CO2 excess adsorption curve was corrected by the reduction of CO2 dissolution. The adsorption capacity and adsorption heat were calculated using the modified D-R …

Formation Pressure Calculation Of Tight Sandstone Gas Reservoir Based On Material Balance Inversion Method, Wu Nan, Shi Shi, Zheng Shiqi, Zhao Haoyang, Wang Hongya, Tong Jiangnan
Coal Geology & Exploration
Pressure is the soul of a gas reservoir. Formation pressure is the basis of evaluating gas well productivity and analyzing gas reservoir potential. However, due to data integrity and method applicability limitations, formation pressure in most gas wells cannot be accurately obtained. On the basis of a small amount of pressure monitoring data, the material balance inversion method is proposed by using mathematical inversion thought to evaluate the formation pressure of tight sandstone gas reservoirs. Firstly, the dynamic reserves of gas wells are calculated by fitting the Blasingame chart with the production data of gas wells under pseudo-steady flow. Secondly, …

Reservoir Properties And Gas Production Difference Between No.15 Coal And No.3 Coal In Zhengzhuang Block, Southern Qinshui Basin, Zhang Cong, Li Mengxi, Feng Shuren, Hu Qiujia, Qiao Maopo, Wu Dingquan, Yu Jiasheng, Li Kexin
Coal Geology & Exploration
With the in-depth exploration and development of coalbed methane (CBM), the development differences between different strata in the same region are gradually emerging. Deepening the understanding of reservoir is crucial to formulate development strategies. Taking the Zhengzhuang Block in the southern Qinshui Basin as an example, in the past, the focus was on the main No.3 coal resources. With the stimulation demand in this block, the CBM needs to be gradually recovered in multiple layers. In this paper, the CBM resource of No.15 coal is analyzed. Comparative analysis with well developed No.3 CBM resources is carried to probe into the …

Acid Fracturing Technology Of Deep Cbm Wells And Its Field Test In Daning-Jixian Block, Liu Changsong, Zhao Haifeng, Chen Shuai, Zhen Huaibin, Wang Chengwang
Coal Geology & Exploration
There are abundant deep coalbed methane resources in China, but the coupling problem of coal reservoir reconstruction technology and deep geological quality conditions needs to be solved urgently. With Daning-Jixian Block as the geological background, the feasibility of volumetric fracturing is evaluated from the perspective of rock mechanical parameters of the No.8 coal seam in a deep layer of the block, and verified by the indoor triaxial acid fracturing model experiment, in order to explore the coal reservoir reconstruction technology under deep geological conditions. Based on the above basic research, the volume acid fracturing technology characterized by high displacement, low …

Practice And Understanding Of Coalbed Methane Co-Production In Zhijin Area, Guizhou, Li Jiaxin, Chen Zhenlong, Guo Tao
Coal Geology & Exploration
Guizhou Province is a typical area where thin-to-medium thick coalbeds are developed, where the resource endowment characteristics, including multiple coalbeds, small thickness, low permeability, high in-situ stress and multi-layer superposition of pressure system, lead to the difficulties in localization of the mainstream technologies at home and abroad for the development of coalbed methane (CBM) and the utilization of CBM resources. The particularity of these geological characteristics of the multiple and thin CBM determines the obvious selectivity of technologies for its development, and thus the co-production of multiple coalbeds becomes the essential method for effective development and utilization of CBM resources …

Pavement surface condition rating is an essential part of road infrastructure maintenance and asset management, and it is performed manually by the data analyst. The manual rating requires cognitive skills built through training and experience, which is quantitatively challenging and timeconsuming. This paper first analyses the complexity of the current manual visual rating system. This paper then investigates the suitability and robustness of a state-of-the-art convolutional neural network (CNN) classifier to automate the pavement surface condition index (PSCI) system used to rate pavement surfaces in Ireland. The dataset contains 3735 images of flexible asphalt pavements from Irish urban and rural …

Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: In order to solve the problems of the oscillation phenomenon and greedy characteristics in the dynamic scheduling decoding algorithm for low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes, the relative-residual-based dynamic schedule (RRB-BP) algorithm is proposed based on variable-to-check residual belief propagation (VC-RBP) algorithm. The variable nodes are grouped, then the relative residual value of the message passed by the variable nodes to the check node is taken as a reference, and the node with the largest relative residual value is updated in priority to accelerate the decoding convergence speed. For variable nodes oscillating in the decoding process, the posterior LLR (log likelihood …

The results show that the algorithm has an accuracy rate of about 10% higher than that of ordinary …

A Machine Learning Framework For Automatic Speech Recognition In Air Traffic Control Using Word Level Binary Classification And Transcription, Fowad Shahid Sohail
Theses and Dissertations
Advances in Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning have enabled a variety of new technologies. One such technology is Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), where a machine is given audio and transcribes the words that were spoken. ASR can be applied in a variety of domains to improve general usability and safety. One such domain is Air Traffic Control (ATC). ASR in ATC promises to improve safety in a mission critical environment. ASR models have historically required a large amount of clean training data. ATC environments are noisy and acquiring labeled data is a difficult, expertise dependent task. This thesis attempts to …

COVID-19 caused by the transmission of SARS-CoV-2 virus taking a huge toll on global health and caused life-threatening medical complications and elevated mortality rates, especially among older adults and people with existing morbidity. Current evidence suggests that the virus spreads primarily through respiratory droplets emitted by infected persons when breathing, coughing, sneezing, or speaking. These droplets can reach another person through their mouth, nose, or eyes, resulting in infection. The "gold standard'' for clinical diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 is the laboratory-based nucleic acid amplification test, which includes the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test on nasopharyngeal swab samples. The main concerns …
