This study investigates the impact of a Students as Partners (SAP) model on teaching effectiveness and student success in GEO210: Introduction to Geographic Information Systems at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University. Over three semesters, student partners collaborated with the instructor to co‑design course curriculum and instructional modalities. This collaboration resulted in peer‑led lectures, collaborative learning activities, iterative skill assessments, and revised assignments with clear rubrics. Student outcomes in SAP sections were compared with those in non‑SAP sections using course evaluations, grades, and qualitative student feedback. Problem: There is a gap in understanding the culturally specific barriers affecting diabetes education knowledge (DEK) among Black women with Diabetes Mellitus (DM). This study explores the barriers and facilitators to improving education retention from the perspectives of diabetes mellitus educators and health care providers.

Theoretical Framework: The Campinha-Bacote Model (CBM) was utilized to identify the facilitators and barriers of Black women with DM.

This single-case mixed-methods study examined how faculty participation in the Peer Online Course Review (POCR) process influenced course design practices and equity-focused learning experiences in asynchronous online courses at Jay College. Institutional data indicated persistent equity gaps, with BIPOC students, particularly Black, American Indian, and Pacific Islander students, experiencing lower success and completion rates in online courses.

The quantitative strand analyzed pre- and post-POCR student success metrics using existing institutional data. The qualitative strand drew on structured faculty interviews to examine changes in instructional practices, accessibility, and equity-minded pedagogy following participation in POCR. Feedback is a cornerstone of academic development, particularly in marketing education, where skill development often requires iteration and applied practice. While instructors spend considerable time providing effective feedback, artificial intelligence (AI) tools can significantly reduce this burden by generating timely, tailored responses. SEEK in CUNY Archives is an inclusive research guide to archival materials about the Percy Ellis Sutton Search for Education, Elevation, and Knowledge (SEEK) program, and College Discovery (CD) program available at CUNY archives. The SEEK Program was established within CUNY in 1965 on the pre-baccalaureate level to integrate Black and Puerto Rican students into the CUNY system and expanded to other senior-level colleges in 1966. The program provides students with academic and financial support, as well as tutoring and counseling services. Currently, the SEEK Program is available at twelve of CUNY’s four-year colleges. Purpose: This phenomenological study aimed to identify the factors that influence the retention of elementary special education teachers in virtual, independent study environments and brick-and-mortar environments, and to explore similarities and differences in how elementary special education teachers experience work-life balance across educational settings.

Methodology: Purposeful sampling was used to identify 10 elementary special education teachers in California who worked in brick-and-mortar and virtual independent study settings and met the study's inclusion criteria. Methodology: Two Southern California community college dental hygiene programs were selected for this phenomenological study to identify the use of faculty supports. This systematic review and meta-analysis synthesized the body of research on behavioral interventions for improving group engagement. Fifty studies were included (n = 10 group designs; n = 40 single case designs [SCDs]). Most research on interventions to improve group engagement was conducted in elementary and middle school general education settings. Class-Wide Function-Related Intervention Teams (n = 6), the Good Behavior Game (n = 6), Tootling (n = 8), and multicomponent approaches (n = 9) were the most commonly reported intervention types. Culturally responsive teaching (CRT) is a research-grounded pedagogical approach for educational equity centering cultural knowledge to make learning meaningful and relevant (Gay, 2002). However, a persistent gap remains between CRT as a concept and classroom implementation. Research suggests translating the principles of CRT frameworks into classroom practice remains challenging (Gay, 2000, 2010; Sleeter, 2012). Metacognitive Awareness And Reading Success: Creating Responsive Instruction Through Student Voice, Melanie A. Boonstra

This sequential explanatory mixed-methods study investigated the relationship between fifthgrade students' metacognitive awareness and reading comprehension within a learner-centered environment. Grounded in Zimmerman’s (2002) self-regulated learning framework, the research utilized the Metacognitive Awareness of Reading Strategies Inventory-Revised (MARSI-R) and NWEA MAP reading assessments (n = 42). Quantitative results indicated a moderate, statistically significant positive relationship (r = .501, p = .001), with metacognitive awareness explaining approximately 25% of the variance in reading achievement. The subsequent qualitative phase involved semi-structured interviews with six purposively selected students representing convergent and divergent profiles. This research takes a deep dive into the factors shaping marginalized communities’ educational experiences, particularly for low-income Latino students from migrant backgrounds navigating public schooling spaces. Across sixteen qualitative interviews, participant narratives reveal how a systemic lack of resources at the institutional, interpersonal, and structural levels undermines the quality of support students receive and shapes their academic trajectories.
