The study proposed to determine level of happiness among secondary school students in the Holey Makkah, and to examine if there were significant differences in happiness in light of variables as: specialization, achievement level, family monthly income, and family type. A random cluster sample of 600 students answered a life happiness scale after the psychometric of the scale were ensured. A statistical analyses of the data revealed a moderate level (2.17) of happiness among secondary school students in Holey Makkah, There were no statistical significant differences in the level of happiness due to the student specialization, school level, family monthly …

This study aimed at identifying the attitudes that the educational qualification diploma students have towards the competencies developed by the educational qualification program. The study sample comprised of all (108) enrolled and graduating students at the Palestine Technical University - Kadoorie, of whom (15) are enrolled in the program and (93) are graduates. Purpose: The goal was to determine the structure and distribution of training resources in the micro and pre-competition mesocycle of young gymnasts engaged in rhythmic gymnastics .
Methods: The study uses methods analysis and synthesis of special scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observations of the training process of young gymnasts, pedagogical experiment, mathematical and statistical research methods.

In this manuscript we describe our journey as two White coteachers conducting interpretive research with Black and Brown students in a remote-learning teacher preparation course in New York City. In the context of uncertainty, during the twin epidemics of COVID-19 and racial injustice, we explore how we reframed our contemplative pedagogy by embracing an equity-oriented framework. We share stories about moments of awakening drawn from spaces between us and our exceptional cohort of special education teachers – reflections about sensations, emotions, biases, and lived experiences as we embrace the identity of interbeing. The United States population is aging rapidly and the behavioral health workforce is ill-prepared to meet the concurrent rise in demand for services for older adults. Clinicians specializing in working with older adults make up a very small portion of providers and the majority of service provision falls on general practitioners. JOHNSON CITY (July 8, 2021) – Dr. Diego Rodriguez-Gil, assistant professor at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine, has accepted an invitation from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Scientific Review to serve as a member of the Neuroscience of Interoception and Chemosensation Study Section.
Study sections review grant applications submitted to the NIH, make recommendations on these applications to the appropriate NIH national advisory council or board, and survey the status of research in their fields of science.

Aims: A novel professional training was developed to reduce stigma toward harm reduction and pharmacotherapy for substance use disorders.
Methods: The training was delivered over three sessions to n = 147 health professionals in Utah between 2019 and 2020, including n = 40 substance use disorder treatment professionals. Pre and post-training survey measures provided evaluation information on knowledge, attitudes, and planned action regarding harm reduction and pharmacotherapy. Items were grouped into a stigma score, and multilevel modeling, regression analyses, and McNemar tests were used to quantify changes in overall stigma toward harm reduction interventions both before and after the training. …
