This study aims to develop a cooperative learning intervention model based on Gayo culture to improve student learning processes. This research method is Development (R&D) with a 4D model. This research aims to develop contextual teaching materials based on the "BESTARI" eco-environment framework to enhance the critical thinking skills of 5th-grade students on the topic "My Earth." Utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the study was conducted at SD Negeri 4 Aceh Tengah. Data collection involved expert validation, practicality questionnaires, and pretest-posttest instruments. Results indicate that the materials achieved a "Very Valid" status (90.6%) and "Very Practical" status (92.3%). Effectiveness tests demonstrated a significant improvement in critical thinking, with a student mastery rate of 88.7%. This study implies …

This scoping review examines existing publications to evaluate whether Culinary Medicine can be used as a tool for metabolic health among Nigerian immigrants in the United States and the United Kingdom. Nigeria is one of the fastest-growing populations globally, with increasing migration to high-income countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. Evidence suggests that Nigerian immigrants experience a rise in diet-related chronic diseases, including obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, as duration of residence increases. This dissertation explored leadership responses to integrating sustainability into higher education institutions (HEIs). Specifically, it compared statistical differences between self-perceptions of leadership and student, staff, and faculty perceptions regarding leadership effectiveness for sustainability in two Florida based HEIs: one holding a sustainability certification and one without such certification. In response to a shortage of survey instruments regarding this topic, I produced a new instrument to assess perceptions of leadership sustainability, made statistical comparisons between these two institutions to inform others of those perceptions, and synthesized several leadership components into a proposed change process identified as the Attitude Based Cognitive Dissonance …

Statement of the Problem: School board members maintain influential power in public school systems, yet they face political turmoil, community backlash, and role ambiguity (Plough, 2014). While this stress has increased in recent years, little to no research has been conducted on them (Diem et al., 2015).

Introduction: Diabetes is a top ten Rural Healthy People 2030 priority for health improvement among rural Americans. Socioeconomic, environmental, geographic and political barriers contribute to the type 2 diabetes (T2D) prevalence and its disparate impact in rural communities. However, promoting proper self-care behaviors via self-management education can help people with diabetes better manage their condition.

This study aims to develop reading materials for the Sport Science Sophomores of Universitas Negeri Malang due to the unavailability of the materials. The design of her research is R and D (Research and Development) simplified from Borg and Gall design (1983). The result of preliminary study showed that the available materials were not in line with the syllabus since it still reflects the teaching of General English, while the syllabus emphasizes teaching English texts related to Sport Science. Influence Of Co-Curricular Activities On Senior Secondary School Students’ Academic Achievement In English Language In Nigeria

This paper investigates the influence of co-curricular activities on Senior Secondary School Students’ achievement in Nigeria. The variables to be considered are Press club and Literary and debating society, the involvement period, and their academic achievement. Eight out of 17 secondary schools are randomly selected with one hundred students from each school. The questionnaires for the data collection are on students’ personal data and twelve questions on press club and literary and debating society. The mock examination results show that there is a positive significant influence in co-curricular activities on senior secondary school students’ academic achievement in English.

Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is diagnosed at late stages in the majority of cases despite its physically accessible location, resulting in five-year survival rates that drop from 90% at Stage I to below 50% at Stage III or IV. Current screening relies on visual examination and invasive biopsy, neither of which can detect the molecular changes that precede visible tumor formation. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) in saliva reflect tumor biology before lesions appear, but the signal spans over 2,000 species simultaneously, making traditional statistical methods insufficient for reliable diagnostic pattern extraction.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is an endocrine disorder among women of reproductive age and is associated with insulin resistance, menstrual irregularities, hyperandrogenism, and metabolic dysfunction. Dietary modifications targeting glycemic response have emerged as a nonpharmacologic approach for PCOS management. However, long-term randomized controlled trials targeting young adult populations remain limited.

Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 18 are particularly susceptible to inflammatory skin disorders such as acne vulgaris and atopic dermatitis, which can have a detrimental effect on their physical and mental health. Emerging evidence highlights the importance of the gut-skin axis, indicating that the makeup of the gut microbiota affects both skin health and systemic inflammation. Adolescent-specific research is still limited even though probiotic supplementation, especially Lactobacillus strains, has demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects in laboratory, animal, and small clinical studies.
