Après la mort de Jane Misme, les hommages, les souvenirs, les articles biographiques ont afflué et accru l’acuité du sentiment de perte d’une femme dont l’œuvre avait touché tant de féministes, et fait progresser leur cause. Dans ce dossier on trouvera six lettres qui évoquent les qualités de Jane Misme, en tant que collègue, inspiratrice, collaboratrice, activiste et amie. Quatre sont écrites dès le lendemain de sa mort, deux autres sont écrites en réponse et en remerciement à sa fille Clotilde qui avait envoyé, en novembre 1935, quelques articles représentatifs de l’engagement féministe et de l’œuvre et influence de Jane …
