Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an increasingly significant element of today’s global economy. Since the 1980s, global FDI flows have experienced impressive increments up until 2007. FDI flows decreased significantly during the years following the global financial crisis of 2008 and have not yet returned to pre-crisis levels. Since the 2008 global financial crisis, significant changes have occurred in the regulatory and international investment environments while complexity of national tax systems had steadily increased during the past century. JOHNSON CITY (April 9, 2020) – East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy has ranked first in the state for its Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency match rate, as well as 12^th in the nation.

In total, nearly of half of the Class of 2020, 32 students, participated in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) match program for PGY1 positions, and 25 (78%) successfully matched.

We consider a firm consisting of two divisions, one responsible for designing and manufacturing new products and the other responsible for remanufacturing operations. The firm will sell these new and remanufactured products either directly to the consumer (direct selling) or through an independent retailer (indirect selling). Our study demonstrates that a firm’s organizational structure can affect its marketing decisions. Specifically, a decentralized firm with separate manufacturing and remanufacturing divisions can benefit from indirect selling with higher firm profit, supply chain profit, and total consumer demand than direct selling. Today’s global awareness of environmental risks and the pressing needs to compete through efficiency have led to stronger initiatives in the green movement across industries. We examine organizations’ annual revenue levels and their connections to organizational green orientation and impact, quality management programs, and employee perceptions of cultural practices and organizational performance. Results indicate high-revenue organizations use quality management tools more extensively with greater green impact and low-revenue organizations have a more informal and decentralized organizational culture

Recent research to analyze and discuss cultural differences has employed a combination of five major dimensions of individualism–collectivism, power distance, uncertainty avoidance, femininity– masculinity (gender role differentiation), and long-term orientation. Among these dimensions, individualism–collectivism has received the most attention. Chronologically, this cultural attribute has been regarded as one, then two, and more recently, four dimensions of horizontal and vertical individualism and collectivism. However, research on this issue has not been conclusive and some have argued against this expansion.
