Using 2019 data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, this Fact Sheet highlights housing affordability in Nevada’s four recreation counties: Clark, Douglas, Elko, and Washoe. This synthesis is based on a published, national study by Dr. Megan Lawson of Headwaters Economics titled, “Housing in recreation-dependent counties is less affordable.”

Lack of an integrated and commonly accepted theory to explain volunteerism is a function of the multi-dimensional nature of the construct, which is positively correlated to multiple behavioral, cultural, and political attributes in myriad studies. Likely, there is a combination of social determinants that best predict levels of volunteerism better than others. The issue of overarching theory development to explain volunteerism becomes further convoluted when approaching the construct from a global perspective as commonly held definitions become eroded due to language barriers and cultural nuances. This study explored brand communication and audience engagement metrics for automakers selling electrified vehicle models in the U.S. The dataset included all Twitter communication from 27 major brand accounts during a one-year period (July 2018 through June 2019). Data analysis focused on communication volume, explicit saturation, and discourse clustering around key themes and variables. The study found abysmal amounts of EV-category explicit terminology for all brands, particularly so for U.S. accounts. Audience engagement was stronger for brands that pulled EVs into the lifestyle of their targets, than for brands pushing normative messages about environmental concerns.

This research was conducted to determine the simultaneous and partial effect of Leverage, Capital Intensity and Deferred Tax Expense on Tax Avoidance in the automotive subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2012-2018. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The method of data analysis uses panel data regression analysis using Eviews 10 software by conducting several stages of testing. The results of this study indicate that leverage, capital intensity, and deferred tax expense simultaneously significantly affect tax avoidance. Capital intensity partially has a significant effect on tax avoidance in a negative direction. Meanwhile, leverage and deferred …

It focuses on how gender, age, and organization type affect frustration of insufficiently motivated employees, their tendency to conflict with their employers, and the complexity of the conflict. A questionnaire was distributed to accessible employees in different private and public organizations in Saudi Arabia. The number of participants is 211. The data analysis that was performed included independent samples T-Test, and linear regression test.
