This thesis is made up of twelve case studies completed during my junior year over various financial accounting topics. The class was led by Dr. Vicki Dickinson, who oversaw every aspect of each particular case study. The topics covered in this thesis range from various fields and expanded my knowledge on many accounting ideas. I know for sure that each case study prepared us as students for the ever-changing accounting world as we begin to start our careers in financial accounting.

This topic analysis, along with the numerous accounting firm presentations that were offered to expose us to potential future professional opportunities, helped to further enhance our knowledge of the accounting profession while developing our critical thinking processes and related research techniques. Research Aims: The study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy on the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia. Design/methodology/approach: The data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 200 SME managers/owners. Multiple regression analysis was applied to test the influence of financial literacy on SMEs performance by controlling manager profile and SME-specific characteristics. Research Findings: Multiple regression results prove that financial literacy has a positive and significant impact on SMEs' performance. Managers/owners with financial literacy skills understand business-related financial concepts, including debt, savings, takaful, insurance, and investment, which ensure the good performance of their business. It focused on both output and input orientations and the effectiveness of production. Design: The research methodology was descriptive and quantitative, employing data envelopment analysis (DEA) and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Research Aims: This study aims to examine the effect of visual packaging and perceived emotional value on purchase intention of Islamic-branded cosmetics. Design/Methodology/Approach: The data were collected from an online survey of selected respondents. By using the purposive sampling technique, the respondents were limited to those who knew of or have used Islamic-branded cosmetics. The data were analysed using the PLS-SEM method. Research Findings: Altogether, this study's sample comprised 257 respondents and found that visual packaging of Islamic-branded cosmetics positively affects perceived emotional value and attitude. Research Aims: This study investigates the mediating role of trust in explaining the effect of learning orientation and market orientation on the export performance of small and medium enterprise (SME) exporters in emerging markets. Design/methodology/approach: Survey data from 193 Malaysian SME exporters were used to test a series of hypothesised relationships. The sample was derived from the directory of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, which consists of Malaysian wholly owned cross-industry manufacturing SMEs with 10-200 full-time employees. This paper seeks to suggest user satisfaction model of digital signage to see how new in-store technology can effectively lead to customers" shopping satisfaction in fashion retails. Authors in particular focus on technological complexity, which is expected to serve a subtle role in using digital signage. This study employed a scenario-based online survey. Global Knights publishes an annual 100 Global Most Sustainable companies list which has been announced each January in Davos, Switzerland since 2005. This paper examines the global recognition of the US sustainable companies which make that list and the presence of cumulative abnormal returns of their portfolio. Influencer marketing has grown immensely, and consumers are now frequently interacting with and making decisions based on content published by influencers on social media. This thesis explores how different types of endorsed influencer posts are perceived along with how the type of endorsed post can impact a consumer’s perception of the product and brand being endorsed. Using self-administered questionnaires, semi-structured interviews a simulated influencer content browsing experience, this research examines differences between influencer endorsements officially sponsored by a company, endorsements of products merely gifted by the company, and endorsements of products with no company involvement. Purpose: Development of motor activity, physical fitness of children by means of rhythmic exercises based on initial gymnastics.

Methods: in the study we used the following methods: pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, heart rate monitoring, somatoscopy, mathematical statistics.

Results: As a result of the study, it was found that in children 6-7 years old, on the basis of rhythmic exercises based on initial gymnastics, motor activity increases by 11.4%, and physical fitness-by 11.32%. After the experiment, changes in the statistical reliability of the test results were revealed (p<0.05 and higher, 847 ±0.9, tct =1.55).

Estimates vary, but a third to one half of individuals shot and killed by police have a mental illness or disability, and many who are taken into custody languish in county jails where no treatment for their illness is available. The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) model is an increasingly important adjunct to U.S. police training because it de-escalates tense situations, diverts people with mental illness away from jail and into treatment, and can reduce the risk of civilian deaths during a police encounter. This is especially true for an organization with the legacy held by the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of the Incarnate Word. Memories recounted by nursing faculty were collected to enhance information provided in the two-volume chronicle written by Sister Patrice Slattery in 1995 entitled, “Promises to Keep” and the last history of the school, “The Story of One School of Nursing” written by Sister Charles Marie Frank in 1976.
